when it comes to patterns? I pretty much love all patterns but paisley gets me every time. It's a must have.

Definitely multicolored stripes. Any stripes really but ESPECIALLY ones with all the colors from the palette. I always use those.

Stripes A kit is not complete unless it has a good multi-color stripe in it.

A good dainty floral does it for me every time. I feel in love with Zoe's floral papers and they still make me swoon every.single.time I scrap with her kits.

Woodgrain or a subtle tone on tone pattern. Honestly, I'm more drawn to solid or near solid papers.

I love paisley. And plaid. And polka dot. And wood grain. And floral. And stripes. And newsprint. And houndstooth. And checkerboard. And chevrons. And triangles. And damask. And themed stuff like arrows or paw prints or ladybugs or whatever goes with that kit. And mixtures of any of the above. I like big patterns. I like tiny patterns. I like bold patterns. I like subtle patterns. Basically, I only like patterns that can be described with the word "pattern."

I love all patterns. But I absolutely can't resist maps... it doesn't even matter what's on the map. Although my heart makes a little leap when it's California or Australia- but I don't care, I'll buy almost anything map-like, I'm positively addicted to it...

I do love chevron and stripes and houndstooth, but I think my all time favorite is the paper here (wasn't sure how to describe it?):

Diamond in a circle? I. just. love. it.

Plaids & Stripes -- or something that has a good pattern with all the colors of the kit on it. I love to have at least one paper on my page that shows all the colors of the kit on it

I also learned a tip a long time back if you love plaid and cannot find a plaid you want use a stripe paper, duplicate, flip it 90 degrees and lower the opacity to 50% then merge the layers

I am a nerd and decided that this pattern surely must have a name, because I've seen it lots, and it's super awesome. So I went looking for a name. Apparently if you make a quilt with this pattern, it's called a cathedral window pattern. I can dig it. Add "cathedral window" to my list of patterns I love.

Thank you! I love that pattern too and I have learned something new tonight. You're not the only one who loves knowing exactly what the different names for all the patterns are. Add me to that list!

I have a definite weakness for newsprint and diagonal stripes in a bold color. Or thick b&w stripes. I feel like I must always use such papers as my bg. LOL
