My favorite is Hallelujah by Carrie Underwood & John Legend. Her whole Christmas album is great!
I also really like the newer song- Snowman by Sia.

I love most of the classic Christmas songs, but there is one that is quite meaningful to me, John Lennon's 'And So This Is Christmas'. It's one that left such a deep impression to me as I spent many Christmases alone in Liverpool far away from my family when I was doing my degrees...

Probably my favorite recorded song is God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen by Barenaked Ladies and Sarah McLachlan. This song was never on my radar, but I love their version of it.

I have way too many!! I love Christmas music. My favorites are kind of divided into classic songs, songs that were recorded, and songs that I performed as a choir member.
My favorite classic is O Holy Night, with Mary Did You Know (a new classic) as a close second. Pentatonix's version of Mary Did You Know is my favorite. Do You Hear What I Hear is a close third. Andrea Bocelli and his family has a beautiful version. One of my favorites that I performed as a choir member is John Rutter's Gloria, in particular, movement I, which is vivace (lively). I performed as an alto with the San Antonio Symphony Mastersingers in the mid-90s with the SA Symphony. The brass is fabulous! John Rutter is probably my favorite 20th Century composer. Here it is if you want to listen to it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9M6eSr221Vc Of those recorded, the Carpenters' Merry Christmas Darling is probably my favorite. Not in a category is Leroy Anderson's Sleigh Ride, performed by a symphony or symphonic band. I'm sure I'm leaving something out!
