For this Pocket Page Recipe Challenge:
Create a pocket page layout that contains:
*fill at least one pocket with 4 or more elements
*color outside the lines (meaning create a cluster or title that is outside pocket lines)
*use 4 or more photos

For those of us who are newbies here, can you please explain exactly what a pocket page is? I understand the concept of a physical pocket page, but how do we do that digitally? Is there a template we need? Thanks for any help!!!

Hi Heidi,
If you are familiar with the idea of a pocket page in paper scrapping, the idea is to recreate it digitally (or make it a hybrid page). You can use a template, but creating 'cards' and placing them like they are in pockets (see Krista's examples) will work too.
Here you can find some templates, they will give you the idea of what to do.
If you decide to go hybrid, make sure to put some of your elements on top of the pockets, so they go outside the lines (since it's one of the rules).
I hope this helps (and i hope I didn't speak before any of the others, like Krista herself). Also hope I did explain it right... if not, I'm sure someone else will jump in.

Oh love pocket pages - and this was perfect for the next group of photos I wanted to scrap, a surprise trip for one of my boys with his best buddy's family just before we moved. They had such a good time and I'm so thankful his buddy's mom also loves pictures and knows how much I do so shared several from their trip.
