I just wanted to thank Robin and you all for providing such a wonderful scrapbooking community. It has honestly saved me from mental insanity the last couple of months, and kept me so much happier than I would be had it not been here. I had my second baby in November, and I suffer from Post Partum Depression, which I am able to somewhat control with hormones, but not totally, because of breast feeding. I am also the type of person who loves to be outside and busy, so adjusting to the sometimes isolating world of having a new baby to be home with, has been tough. Fortunately I decided to become a member of The Sweet Shoppe Community in February, after buying kits for a year, but not really doing anything with them. Now I am able to work on challenge lo's while I nurse, and at any other free moment I can find, and I feel like I have some added joy in my life, while creating a wonderful gift for my family. I love creating and having something in my life that is for me, when I give so much as a mother. Don't get me wrong, I love my life and love my babies more than anything, but sometimes it is all overwhelming for me, so I appreciate having something in my life that I enjoy for me. You all are such great scrapbookers and designers that give me daily inspiration. Thank you!

I'm glad you found a place to release some of your creativity! I know how hard it is having a baby taking up all your time and just not feeling like you anymore. Hang in there and Congrats!

Awww, big warm SSD fuzzies! I'm so happy to hear this community has been wonderful for you- we all need time and hobbies for ourselves, especially as busy moms!

I totally agree!!!!! I have been buying here for over 2 years and didn't really join the forums until January (I think). I am a SAHM that has an insane schedule. I was glad to find an outlet that was for JUST ME! I have also really enjoyed the portfolios because it has challenged me each month to try new things, expand my creativity and best of all.....earned me a discount to my ever growing addiction!
I am glad that you have found your spot! I have loved getting to know your personality a little at a time in the forums and seeing your pages!

Totally agree Theresa!

SSD was the first shop and community I found in January of this year. Boy am I glad I did. I shopped other places after being enabled by a few of you, but don't feel the need to get involved there because there is always so much happening here.

I love every single one of you. It's amazing the bonds you make through things like the Skinny Jeans challenge, Sweet Secret Sisters, and even just commenting back and forth on layouts.

Thanks for making this my digi home you guys! I couldn't imagine being anywhere else

Gotta agree and I've been here a LONG time! But, the lovely gals and guy have helped me through some pretty hard times and have put up with me when I've been mental too! LMAO!!

It is so good to hear someone else talking about how this has saved their sanity... I suffer from Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder, which means I basically have 3 bad weeks and one okay week of the month. I'm also battling through a divorce.

This website has provided community and love to me, and I feel very at home here. It's been a light in a very dark place for me, and I appreciate this site as well.

I totally understand where you're coming from Theresa! I struggle with PPD depression also, and after I had my baby last year, SSD was a huge refuge for me! All the girls here are so sweet. I'm glad you found a "home" with all of us. Keep keepin' on!

I love it here to - where else do you have awesome people like Angie who send you PM's from time to time to make sure you are hanging in there while you husband is gone for a year? That goes above and beyond and just one of the reasons I stay!! Thanks for being so great everyone!!!!!
