I haven't actually started yet, just been planning in my mind. I need to get more cs to use for base before I can begin since I'm doing it hybrid.

but I do think I want to do mine hybrid, but I will have to see if I have enough ink on hand, and a few real life embellishments on hand before I start......(I already have tons of BH PL page protectors that have NOT been put to use, so I am good there!)

Adi, December Daily is a concept from Ali Edwards. The idea is to document your Holiday season daily or however works for your family. It's usually done in it's own album or format too.

These are my albums from the past two years to give you an idea:

I've been slowly working on mine. I'm doing it mainly paper with a little bit of hybrid mixed in. got my journaling cards printed today so I need to cut those. And I got my sewing machine back so I can figure out how to sew on my cards! WOOT! Excited and nervous about this I am still working on my cover - not completely in love with what I am planning. That may change though

Here's what I have so far:

It's an album project that documents the 25 days leading up to Christmas. Mainly of whatever you want to document.
-Christmas tree picking-
-Cookies for Santa
-Visiting Santa
-Breakfast-Dinner w/family
-Christmas ornaments
-Favorite Christmas mugs, nicknacks
-Under the Christmas tree, kids, couples, pets
-Movies you've watches
-Christmas lights watching (houses)
-Christmas shopping
-Christmas wrapping if you don't have any younger kids you still want to believe
-Kids making lists...
it's endless... but so you get an idea...

I bow down to you hybird girls. I just can't do it...

Erin, love that it's very much to the point of what's going to be inside the album

re-doing my cover today and have been printing up journal cards and making embellishments and pulling together my "real" elements and stuff that match... also been painting watercolor paper to send through my Silhouette... I won't actually be putting together my pages but am pulling everything together... I tend to fly by the seat of my pants, so I have a hard time putting it all together before the month... but love having it all printed and ready so that all I have to do is fill my pockets with pre-made cards, photos and journal... that's the only way I can finish it lol

I started searching/organizing my stash. And I'm working on filling in a calendar for ideas each day. They might not all happen but at least I have an idea.

That makes total sense and yay for strategies!

These are filler pages, I am not I repeat not a journal heavy person so I could never do those type of layouts. These are all going on top/in between Traci's 365 Unscripted-Mini slipins. I've already decorated a few of them but can't share just yet...
These photo one's may also include 2 or 3 days to save my sanity and time... We'll see how it all come's together

I am, but I'm not pre-planning this year. I did pre-plan last year and felt constrained. This year I'm looking forward to scrapping by the christmas tree lights.

I have been studying the calendar to make sure our favorite activites don't collide. And planning some quiet at home nights. Flexible, but prepared.

I'm definitely doing this with Lynette's templates. I plan to document our Countdown to Christmas/Advent festivities in combination with other holiday things we do each day. I still need to decide on a kit. Once I do, I'll get all the accent pages and cover done.

I don't do mine ahead of time, but I do have my supplies chosen & ready to go (except whatever I'm going to buy next Friday here at SSD! ).

I did get last year's album printed (this week!) from PrestoPhoto.com, though. Does that count?!

I wish I could write on my resume 'completed and printed Countdown to Christmas albums for 2011 and 2012,' but somehow, I think the real world would not be nearly as impressed with that accomplishment as I would hope they'd be.

I'm still trying to finish up my fall album, but I'm losing motivation and feeling ready to move on to the holidays. I may scrap my foundation stuff and get my albums prepped, THEN finish the fall album... I'm doing a Holiday Faves album, but I think I may start with last years and then, when this year's is released, see how I can weave it in... I'm still not sure.

if I printed photos at home, I would. I just use white cardstock- for projects like this, I use Bazzill textured cardstock from Michaels, for PL I just use bright white cardstock from a local source.

I use Bright White cardstock... since I do hybrid for PL too... it's just too expensive to always use presentation paper all year long... I'm pretty happy with the prints, it's not too much different... and I figure no-one knows but me LOL

Yep, I print all my pages on the Epson matte presentation paper. All the photo pages I print on epson glossy photo paper.

ETA: I've tried the generic bright white cardstock before and I don't like the colors I get with it nearly as much as the presentation paper. For me it's worth the extra cost but my Epson printer tends to be finicky that way.

I will say, with my old printer I had to use the presentation paper, but with my new printer I get much truer colors even on cardstock.

Yeah, most days I want to throw this printer out the window. Even Adam said the other day I should replace it. But I've done a bunch of tests with paper and settings and the presentation paper always wins out. I figure it's a conspiracy to get people to buy their paper, haha.

yeah I really love my little Canon printer and I am thinking I will send my pictures to WalGreens or to PP and then do it once a week I figure if I can keep up with the little journaling things and get those in my book, then all I will have to do is put the photos when I get them back

My printer SUCKS. So I had my journaling cards printed at Office Max. They look pretty sharp - now I just need to cut them.. ugh!! If I get a silhouette like I am hoping for Christmas - I'll have to convince dh to also get a new printer...

I hated my Epson ink printer, so I got a Samsung laser printer instead and I LOVE IT. So I'll be using the print and cut feature on my silhouette a lot for my December daily album.

These are awesome!. What sizes are they?

I want chipboard but also page protectors (maybe?) and to incorporate project life pocket scrapping into all this but done all digitally with a few embellishments. I have to go and actually look at albums soon to plan. I think I am going to do a Holidays starting from Thanksgiving and continuing through New Years.

Does anyone do theirs non-square?

I have decided to throw caution to the virtual wind and do my album this year in 9x7. I haven't scrapped non-square in years and years, so I'm hoping I can temporarily adjust to it next month.

Thank you!

last year I did 8x8 in a basic grey binder, I believe.
The year before was 5x7, handbound.

This year I am doing 6x8 in a Sn@p album
