Love this idea! I had already picked up the cheapy plain plastic ones, but plan on altering them. I'm making both of my kids' teachers a "Teacher survival kit" with some little gifts inside (as a teacher I can say this was my favorite gift ever- the beginning of school is so hectic that it's a nice thought)!

Stephanie, this is such a great idea. I have one box left. I might have to make one for DH's K teacher!

This is such a cool idea!

I may have to try the Teacher Survival Kit.

Now a question from the hybrid newbie...would it be best to print these on cardstock or...? Thanks!

I'm not a hybrid expert - but I used matte photo paper.

I also used matte photo paper, roughed up the top of the plastic pencil case (I couldn't find wooden ones in time,) adhered it and sealed it with Mod Podge. It turned out SO cute... I'll post a pic asap!
