Default birthday treat ideas?

My son turns 4 in two weeks and I thought it would fun for him to take a treat to his Sunday School class next week... any ideas? I don't want to do cupcakes or anything that is messy ~ the three adults have their hands full as the way it is... so I was thinking of something cute and crafty to make that is food related... any ideas? As far as I know... no food allergies, however I should stay away from peanuts just in case.

thanks!!

Maybe some type of little goodie bag to take with them? One year, we gave crayons, stickers, fruit roll ups and a pencil. You could make a cute topper.

Maybe muffins since it is in the AM? You can still use a cute pick or cupcake wrapper?

Instead of treat bags for my son's birthdays, we have been making chocolate treats. One year, we made Mickey Mouse dipped pretzels, one year, Thomas shaped chocolate pops and last year I wrapped Hershey bars with Toy Story fun.

We've done fruit-kabobs for Luke's class at school the past couple of years. It's always a big hit and gives the kids a chance to taste fruits they may not have tasted in the past.

What about if you made up a snack mix that included some of his favorite things. We don't buy premixed stuff, I usually just throw different things together that my kids like
this week it's : honey Scooby snacks, Cheese Nips, pretzels, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, a couple M&M's or chocolate chips

Family Fun http://familyfun.go.com/ always has some nifty food ideas. I loved the strawberry shortcake that was shaped like a caterpillar! These 'Lion & Lamb' rolls might be fun for Sunday School: http://familyfun.go.com/recipes/cook...a-lamb-714790/

We do this too! You could keep everything separate and let them make their own mixes, if they're time.

What about Rice Krispie treats in a shape? You could wrap indvidually or just put on a platter. Fruit kabobs sounds fun! I've made kabobs ut of gummie candies too and they were a hit. The sticks are the scary part.
