Still in the hospital.

I've been in the hospital for 9? days now? It's easy to lose track.
I went to the ER (stand a lone ER) last friday with really bad back pain and found out my rods were broken. The monitored me for a bit, my fever peaked around 103 so they transferred me to a hospital...
over the course of time we found out my hip was out of place and had been for years and there was a pocket of fluid they needed to drain ... it was clear nothing to worry about. We are making no plans to fix the hip because it's never bothered me and the only option we'd have is total hip replacement. I'll stick with the lopsided one I have. Cheaper.

Then they decided to run a test here and a test there and found oout I have a pulminary embolism.

They started me on blood thinners.

There is talk about taking out/replacing the broken rods but my fever won't stay down. and my heart rate wont stay down either.

I think fever gets down to 99 but it's usually in the 100-101 range.

The best my heart rates has been since I've been here is 110 and it's peaked to 170.

I ran out of veins so I now have a PICC line.

It's a lot of wait and see.

It sucks.

no clue how or even when.

the pain is above but the rods are of course weak and wobbly now causing pain all over different areas in the back
