Default PMS

Right now DBF is calling me hormonezilla... not out loud, though, he's too afraid!

Can't wait for these couple days to be over. AND to start IVF treatement so that I can get pregnant aka 9-months-long-PMS. Yay... NOT!!!

Just wanted to share the joy of my life. Consider yourself warned.

That's all, you can go back to your normal activities now. 'kaythanxbye!

I totally know what you mean! I also dread those few days and somehow they always sneak up on me and everyone else!

So bad of me, but I'm so glad I'm not in it alone. I turn into an emotional weapon during those days.

Oh man, I am a wreck for about 3 days before I start. BUT, I wasn't a mess through my whole pregnancy, either time. Ups and downs, for sure, but I was really happy and relaxed with Eden. True!

My 17 y/o son said last month when he heard me saying to my husband I was having cramps and feeling kinda moody:

"Uh-oh break out the Midol and chocolate."

Umm yea I am BAD for about a week out of the month. Partially because of hormones but also partially because of the pain from cramps.

I have cramps too, but the emotional mess is actually before my TOTM starts, like the 2-3 days right before. Practical because it gives me a warning sign, but I'm not sure I'd rather not have a surprise instead! Gaaaaaaah!

Voting for surprise! Moi aussi, I also get emotional days before, usually 5 days or so, but if I'm really "lucky", it can last for 10 days (not nice). Anyway, when the day comes when just everybody irritates me and just HAVE to snack on chips, I know what's coming the day after... But I'd gladly do without it, thank you very much. :-)

I tend to have nasty cramps, but after the PMS they are actually a relief, LOL.

Ah, me too!

Jen, actually the injections turn me into a cry-machine, not a meanie! Not sure which one is better, but at least that's a change! LOL

*blush* thank you ladies! I was playing with my new lens at the park the other day, and since the kids weren't being willing subjects, I had to try and get a new photo of myself

I still remember the terror of the hot flashes...omgosh, I'd rather be hormonal than deal with those again. I almost passed out from them a couple times, and they stuck around long after my clomid cycles. Not looking forward to doing the drugs in the summertime again

Wow, that's pretty wild. I had some temperature troubles, feeling too hot then too cold, but nothing that bad. BTW, I had to stop in the middle of this message because the nurse was here for my second injection! Coincidences!

BTW, I totally agree with Val and Ginger, this pic is lovely!!

just seeing this...

Oh gosh Jen and Chloe... I soooo remember the injections! I always say that it's a miracle I'm still married, my hubby loves me an awful lot to stick through it with me. And Chloe, you've got my prayers hon! IVF was hard but it was soooo worth it at the same time.

Ha... I had no change in mood on clomid... so what does that say about me everyday?

Hugs and good luck to you Chloe and Jen - I was told today that after this month on 150mg of clomid, I probably will have to go down the road of injections... hubby and i agreed that clomid would be our last step - so it looks like I will never have the chance to hold another baby in my arms... I'm really not doing well today...

Oh Rebecca...big hugs. A LOT of my friends who have had issues responding to clomid have done well on femara(which is along the same lines as clomid) or to going natural and doing soy/geritol/lemon water. If you want more info on the soy thing, let me know and I can send you some links. I have a friend who has had 2 healthy pregnancies thanks to that combo, and never had luck with clomid or injects or even IVF!

((((((hugs))))))) Rebecca. I'm sorry you have to go through this situation, it's always awful when a door closes like that. I'll keep you in my thoughts and hope that a window opens somewhere else, as we say in French.

So funny... and so true. If a couple get through infertility without getting damaged, it's a good sign: it can stand a lot!

I've started my injections since 3 days and I've had my firsts hot flashes today. I had to hurry to post some mail before the postman leaves, so between the speed and the stress, I was feeling really bad. I had to shut the heater in my office and wide open the windows. The good thing is that everyone at work knows about the treatement so I don't have to justify myself, that's a relief!
