photoshop & photo editing without the help of presets and actions. It would be helpful if I had the desire to sit down and learn too. But I want to be able to do it magically!

Scrappy wise... creative page layout ideas w/o a template for sure.

I want to be a more productive and focused scrapper. First I'd need to learn to scrap faster. I swear I'm the slowest scrapper on the planet. (Not surprisingly, that's my speed setting for non-scrappy things, too. If I could have one superpower, I would strongly consider super speed.)

Second, I need to learn to call a layout done when it's good enough rather than fiddling with it way too long trying to perfect it. That's especially true since I never succeed in perfecting them; I just put the, "Oh, good enough. I'm DONE." moment off for a couple of hours.

I wish I was better at actually scrapping. Not a better scrapper, but that I actually made pages at all. I haven't really scrapped in years.

Definitely be a faster scrapper but not change my style to accomplish the goal. I like my pages, I just wish it didn't take so long.

Composition and shadowing, particularly. But really could be happy with improvement in all scrappy areas. Maybe confidence would also be a good thing for me to work on...

I wish when I sat down to start a page new ideas, especially for composition, would come flooding to me... I always seem to start the design of a page the same way... by the time I'm finished it has usually morphed into something I'm happy with it but it often takes a long time to complete.

And shadowing...

Shadowing. Faster at page completion. Not using templates and coming up with mind blowing well layered designs.

-Using templates - Never been a strong suit for me. I can't seem to make them my "own". If I make a page I like with one, it usually takes me a while to play around with it and get it just right.
-Adding more realism to my pages - lighting, texture,... I just want to get that "oohh ahh" feeling I get looking at beautiful paper pages. I have supplies but nothing I make outside of the computer looks all that great.
-Time management - My scrap time is limited and I move slow..any improvement would be good..lol!

I have no desire to scrap without a template; the fun part for me is clipping papers & adding photos, not designing the layout.

I would like to get better at details. I mostly scrap with Cindy's templates, but even trying to fill all the embellishment spots stresses me out, especially if I'm doing a boy page and can't pile on flowers. I really admire scrappers who use elements in unexpected ways, & pocket scrappers who put the finishing touches on their pages that really make them stand out.

Ummm...nothing...

Am I great at everything, no. Am I happy with 95% of what I make, yes. Honestly no one has ever looked through my books and said, 'hmmm, you could have done ____ better.' The stories are told; no one knows which pages are the crappy ones except me; moving on...
(Even in the books from 2008 where let's face it...almost all the pages now look crappy...)

Just thought of a few more

Clustering
Making better use of the limited scrap time I have (seriously its every few months atm)
Using styles other than shadows

I have plenty of room to grow with my scrapping but the thing I wish I did better is taking photos. I rarely ever do it. Instead I rely on my family to provide pics for me.

Honestly, I'm in a good place with my abilities. I like my pages and think I do a dang good job on them. I don't really look at them anymore and see areas I'm unhappy in general with or as lacking. I'm not saying every page is awesome and perfect, but I don't look at them as strikes against my ability to make a page that I am happy with.

What I need to improve most is taking good sharp photos. Trying to find a decent photo is what takes the most time for me.

1. Take better mobile photos...maybe I need a new phone, but I think it's because I don't know how to remove the grains (or is it noise?) that I see tons on my mobile pics, without losing details.
2. Shadowing

3. Composing

4. Clustering... I'm bad at clustering. I envy people like Jacinda, Brook, Tronesia, Gloria, and all the awesome scrappers here that could make beautiful flower clusters. Mine just look weird. If they look right, it's because I used Brook's or Cindy's templates. LOL. I've saved many layouts to my computer just so I could learn how to cluster better.

Journaling is really, really hard for me and I have no idea why. I get all stuck on the fact that it's going to be printed in a book for all of eternity and stress that I sound dumb. It seriously takes me so long to journal. I need to get over myself. lol.

Remembering to take photos! I am so bad at remembering to take pictures. And pages about things besides just my kids. I love my girls but I want to scrap my own memories too!

This is me. I need to get better at making time to scrapbook myself. It has been years since I have consistently done it. Kind of sad really.

Choosing a kit!
I have way too many (and I always find something new to buy)
I can spend an hour just choosingt he right kit

I suck at shadows, but I have a couple of styles that helps a lot.

And time managment for sure.

I tend to go through phases where I feel the need to try something new and I'm just on the brink of it right now.... but I'm not sure where I'm heading. One of the things I think I'd like to do is use alphas more often and add big titles to my pocket pages. I'm a small title person and half the time I don't even download alphas. I'd like to maybe focus on more creative title work and using alphas more.

Taking more pictures would be a big one, too. I was looking through photos today and I just don't take nearly as many anymore... probably because my nest is emptying. Need to find someway to fill that gap.

Newbie here, but not new to digi-scrap, thought I'd jump in...ROFL

Definitely using a template, I don't use them well as far as making them my own, I tend to follow it exactly. I'd also like to be better at filling a page....I look at some layouts and they've got stuff everywhere, yet the page looks cohesive and gorgeous. I envy that!
