Help Uploading to Gallery

Hi! I have been trying to upload to the gallery & my file always exceeds size. When I try to upload from Flickr or a photo on my blog, it says successful, but it doesn't really upload. I am so frustrated. Please help!

Is your file size under 250kb?

Maybe its over?

It seems like a lot at first, but it goes pretty quickly once you do it a lot
