find me a hair cut.
i don't wanna look like a cupie doll anymore.
 la has me all wound up about my hair now...and i have an appt saturday with a new stylist at a swanky salon downtown. woot!! show me picture of what my hair needs to look like. keep in mind a couple things: 1. my hair is fine and wavy. 2. i am used to wearing a straighter style (i love my chi!) cause my waves are puke ugly. 3. i have a fat oval face. 4. i want a shorter style. like 3-4 inches above the shoulders short.

I need a new one too, but we have very different hair. lol. Mine is coarse and super curly. I'm addicted to my straightening iron too, though.

I love the inverted bob... last photo LeeAndra posted... just a bit longer. I've got the crap-waves and the super-fine hair too. It's so easy to style and doesn't go super-flat like any other haircut does on me. JM2C.

This is how I cut my hair and I love it. Its quick to style and I plan on getting a body wave (I have stick straight hair) to allow me more versatility.

I so need a new style, too. But for some reason the stylists give up on me when I tell them I need something super quick to style that needs no maintenance and doesn't have to be blow dried.
Anyhow, I have no suggestions and need hair help WAY more than you, but I just wanted to tell you to have fun at your swanke salon getting prettied up!

 I wish I could help out, but I've seriously had the same hair since the 90s, lol. It's very low maintenance -- wash, dry, comb, apply mousse, air dry -- repeat daily  I cut my own hair too.

I'm going in on Thursday and I am SO sick of my hair! It's to my shoulders right now and my DH too would kill me if I went completely short. At my last appt my hair stylist said that bangs were "in" - which I have, but which aren't good and thick so I hate them.

Where's a good spot on the net to find cute haircuts? I need one, too, but my hair is coarse, wavy and thick and can't be blown dry because of the humidity and the waves are kinda flat. Really what I need is to shave my head and get a wig.

oooo. heather i love mandy moore cuts...i just don't have that perfect face or long neck to go with!! i would cut mine like that in a heart beat if i did.
megan and shawna...i love that cut. mine is now a grown out wedged cut with long angles in the front a big swoopy bangs. i may just end up going with it again just with more layers. la...i love your cuts too. i may get the last one you posted! everyone else...hot stuff. esp that alyssa milano!! dang! i did have mine short like that in highschool. i was much hotter then. *sigh*

I have had hair down to my bra-strap and the same style for 25 years. A year ago May I did something like this:  (I don't have a photo of me here at work or I'd post it.) I warned DH that I was going to cut my hair to my shoulders, the HD had other plans and cut it chin length. I loved it, everyone else loved it. I got more compliments on that cut. Well DH didn't talk to me for 2 days! He hates short hair. So I started growing it out again. Which I am not happy about but it's easier than listening to him complain. Plus I feel bad enough that I'm not skinny for him like I used to be so I don't want to be fat AND unattractive to him. KWIM? OK, sorry to turn that around to me but I just love this kind of hairstyle and I can't wait to see what you do Fizz!

I have no say in how horribly short Jordan cuts his hair, therefore I don't think he should get so upset over mine. I was talking with his mom monday night and told her about it, and she was like who cares what he thinks? Ignore him. LOL! I love his mom. Still, a cage match would be fun That seems to be my latest solution to things, cage match fighting. LOL!

I love hair tradeoffs.
I am so fiercely pro-facial hair that FI keeps a beard (vs. a goatee since that is 'too much upkeep') and, in exchange, I keep my hair longer than I normally would. He knows if/when he loses the facial hair (temporarily 'cause not having it for long periods of time is not an option) that I get to cut my hair.

i am in desperate need of a new haircut too. i went about 6 months ago and asked for an inverted bob, but she didnt do it really how i wanted it. and i'm too nice to say so, lol. i didnt hate it, but it just wasn't quite what i wanted. it was at Great Clips or whatever its called. i don't like to pay a lot for hair cuts, but i have gone to higher end salons before and they do a better job. the most i have ever paid for a hair cut is $25 at a Regis i think. i may go back there. i'm thinking of just a chin length or slight longer bob. my hair is very thin and straight. DH wants me to grow out m hair reall long, but i keep telling him that my hair won't look like those girls' on the Garnier Fructis commercials; its too thin and just gets split ends and just looks bad when its long. i wish i had thick hair so i could grow it out. i thnk shorter styles look better on me. i have an oval shaped face.

when DH has facial hair it itches and irritates MY skin.. Me having short hair doesn't do a darn thing to his skin..I dont think it's the same scenerio hehe...I want to chop mine off..it's down past my bra strap in the back..I want like shoulder length just too lazy to find a hair stylist near our new house (yes it's been that long since i've had a haircut lol)

where are we finding these lovely hair cuts???? I need a new do too...just waiting to find the perfect cut (again!!!) I have SUPER fine, straight hair so I need some major body adding layers. I also have a kinda high forehead so I am thinking more bangs would be best....I want nothing shorter that my chin which is where it was the last time I got it cut.( now it is at my shoulders in the front and middle of my neck in the back) I love that look but I want something different now.
