Default That's it, I'm fed up!

I need to scrap! I bought so many goodies, have CT stuff to do, and my mojo has left the building totally. I spent hours yesterday moving stuff around on pages, and it all looked awful.

Anyone have some ideas to get the juices flowing?

Some magazine browsing... designing websites... advertising websites... join a challenge... some of the things I do when I'm out of mojo...

TURN OFF THE COMPUTER! WALK AWAY, STOP THINKING ABOUT IT. Let your brain clear out and take a break. Then when you come back, you'll be fresh and ready to go.

Take me for instance. I turned the computer off from 5-8, the amount of time it took me to get the kids ready, go to McDonalds, pick up some stuff at the mall and come home. Was it hard? Yes, but i am living proof that it can be done.

Sometimes you just have to walk away for a bit when forcing it doesn't work, lol. Or you could try the cookie challenge. You've got the basic design done for you, you know?

The challenges work for me, they give me a jumpstart and provide focus that I sometimes lack when my mojo is low.

How about doing a scraplift or some other challenge?

Jamie, I am in EXACTLY the same boat as you are...especially on the too much kits bought and CT stuff to do, LOL!

Take a break, walk away, like all the gals say. Hard to do sure, but I take the time to do some much needed gift wrapping, hehehe ;p

I agree with the other ladies... the challenges really help me out when my mojo is missing.

challenges and templates!!! even if your template looks NOTHING like the template when you first started it gives you the oportunity to get the stuff on there and then start playing around.

I walk away for awhile & read a book. Then I come back & tackle a challenge. Template or scraplifts work best for me. I find having an existing starting point to build on very helpful whenI am out of ideas. That usually works, though sometimes it takes a couple books.

Yep, I'm with these ladies...templates, scraplifts and challenges are the way to go!!

Or here's a list of great ideas from Jessica Sprague to find your hidden muse.

I am right there with you on scrapping mojo. I can't seem to find mine either. I have checked everywhere...it wasn't at Kohl's, New York and Company, or the Children's Place. Not at Toys R Us or Starbucks either. I thought I might have gotten lucky, but it wasn't in the pan of chocolate chuck brownies my DH made for me...nor was it it the super yummy eggnog and Jack Daniels that I enjoyed last night....so if you have seen it please let me know.

Kristy

PS: I have a feeling it might be in the bottom of the box of Christmas decorations that I have sitting and waiting to be scattered lovingly and artistically all over the house...or maybe in the bag of ribbon or wrapping paper Santa has yet to magically wrap those presents he made me buy in...I guess I may never find it...

you can't force creativity. I agree to just take a break. Bake some cookies, wrap some presents. Just leave the computer alone for a while.

LOL, that's just how it goes! When you WANT to scrap, you're too busy or otherwise not able...but as soon as you have the time/ability to scrap, it's gone...

Hope you can find it quickly!
