Looks like it's in San Fran for my bday!! I think I know what I want to do for my birthday this year!

My sister and I are waiting for the registration to open for Orlando in December. We're doing it!!!

I want to do it too! My sister is doing the one in Chicago and I would join her but that's 6 hrs away - kind of far to go for a 5k. But if anyone in KC wants to do it with me just let me know I'd make the trip down!

Aww man! I've been looking for a good 5K to get me off the couch. But, it doesn't look like they're coming to SLC. They'll be in Boise, but like Erin said - probably not worth the drive. Maybe next year, they'll come here. It does look fun.

I'm going to do this race in Nashville on October 20th with my best friend!

I'm excited because I posted on FB about a month ago looking for someone to go do it with and my BFF agreed to meet me. It's 3 hours from me and 3 hours from her, so the best meeting place anyway!

We can't register for the race yet because it hasn't opened yet...but I emailed the company about it and they're going to remind me when the registration opens up!

Since we couldn't register for the race yet, we booked our hotel! And check out the hotel we're staying in....it's amazing!

I am SO excited about this race, we're planning a whole girl's weekend around it!

With it coming to KC, I really want to do it, but I also know that with my knees as they are right now, I'd not even make it to the first point.

So, I checked with my orthopaedist because I couldn't get this out of my head. He said if I walk it instead of running it, and pace myself, that I should be good to go! I'll be doing the one in KC! My 11 year old brother is going to do it with me, and Zach may be in the stroller for it. Also, my sister is flying in from Germany at that time, so she gets to join, too!!! I'm SO excited! We're registering on Pay Day (Mar. 1) so hopefully it won't be sold out by then...

Jeffrey and I are going to start walking at the park when it gets nice out (they have a 1/2 mile trail) and work ourselves up to 3 miles. I have not gone that far in years, but I need something to motivate me to get walking.
