Printer Help!?

Hey Ladies!
I searched the forums and found a few posts, but they were too recent, so I hope it's ok that I am asking this.

I have a HP Photosmart 6510 - and I've been really happy with it. The quality is great (imo, alot better than walmart or elsewhere) and the ink was cheap. However I wasn't printing alot of photos - just here and there. We just bought new ink and I've printed 20 size 4x6 and 4 size 8x10 and it's already warning me it's low on ink. That's more than $1 per photo! Yikes, I can't keep doing that... so does anyone have a printer they could recommend? If I need to pay a little more upfront to keep my continuous costs down, I am ok with that. It doesn't have to print 12x12's, but needs to print at least 8.5 x 11, and not need new ink every 25 photos! If I can't print at home I will never keep up with my memory keeping
