Help with glue!
I haven't scrapped anything physical in over a decade. I'm trying my hand at one of those memory trays, and I've pretty much got it all designed. Now I need to glue it all together.
Modge podge (if that's the right word) wasn't around when I scrapped (not that I knew of anyways). And I don't think Elmers glue is the way to go lol. So yeah - do I use modge podge, or is there another kind of glue that works good with paper, photos, flowers, buttons, etc? I don't want to wreck everything by using the wrong glue |

I would suggest the Tombow Mono It holds well and is safe. I wouldn't suggest Elmer's. Mod Podge, to me, would be great to go over the top of things after it is all in place if you want it 'sealed' (maybe not over buttons and such, just the papers... ) but the Tombow would hold everything down well. I really like it.
I have a memory tray here. I am trying to decide what to put in it. I don't have a starting point since I don't know what room I want it in. If I could figure that out it would be very helpful.

Thank you both! I will definitely look for the glue you both suggested (thank you for the link).
Good luck Sherri! I've changed colors a couple times already (thank goodness I didn't really open anything yet and exchanging stuff was simple). I've been using photoshop to get ideas (I took a pic of the tray and added photos and papers to give me ideas. It's helped TONS to get me started). |
