You need to choose one of the patterns shown. We may change things up with different patterns in the coming months <3

Robin, a question...
FOr the no-embellishment challenge, does Cindy's photostamp qualify to be used on the page?

Yeah, I'd say for consistency, let's stick to papers, photos and fonts only.

Ok I have a problem. I finished my bingo card. I had been reading the FAQ here and there but didn't see the Q & A for the no embellishment challenge. Can I redo that and resubmit so that it qualifies? I currently have a style on mine.

The gallery requirements say that the layouts posted here must contain some SSD products, but there's no specific percentage. You can refer to the guideline below:

All products by current SSD designers are ok. Retired products, freebies, items that are for sale through guest spots, etc will all work. As long as the product is by a current SSD designer, you can use it, no matter where you got it.

Hope that helps!

I'm not quite sure about that center square. Does it mean that you can choose any of the challenges from the square and do a second lo for it?

If you are doing the black out the center square is free. That is how I read the instructions anyway so I hope that is right

Yep!

If you're doing Blackout the center square is FREE!

If you're doing any other pattern, just choose a challenge you aren't doing as your center spot in the pattern.

It says "take and scrap" so taking it is part of the challenge

Just a question about the coupon. I,m Trying to go for the 40% but with the sale at the moment some bundles are -50% since the -30% and the bundle discount are combined. Will the -40% be on top of the bundle discount as wel?

Can I scrap in other formats than square (12x12)? I mostly scrap in A4 (~8.5x11) these days, are these layouts okay for the challenges?

I'm not the boss, but I don't see any problem with that. For putting the layout in your bingo card, just resize it so the longest size fits the square and center it in there. It shouldn't be an issue as long as the layout itself matches the challenge.

I thought so as well but it seems like bundles might be an exception from now to then. For example... when I received the -50% coupon for the shadowbox challenge I bouught a flergs collection for $5.77 wich is normaly priced $18.46 so I guess it was combined with the bundle discount that was already given. Not sure if this will be the case this time again.... Thanks for you reply tho!

The coupon for January's challenges wont be eligible for use until the second full M-F in Feb so the 9th-13th so the sale wont be running then. I'll be sending those out later this week.

For the pattern bingo level, if we scrap some pages that aren't in the pattern, should we leave them off our card to make it easier for y'all when you go through at verify them? So like, if I'm trying for the cover-all, but if that doesn't work out and I have a pattern instead, should I take off the ones that don't fit the pattern?

That would be SUPER helpful! You don't have to though, I can probably pick out the pattern even if you leave what you have in there

Thanks for your reply Robin but I was aiming at the bundle discounts, alot of stuff have like 20% off always when you buy the bundle (just to set an example). But I guess the coupon will work the same as the -50% one right?

I just uploaded a layout for the February challenge and it shows a date of Saturday, January 31st. Today is Sunday, February 1st. Is that going to cause a problem if I want it to count for February?

It should. Some designers don't allow additional discounts on their bundles and some do, so you wont know until you try the coupon on the bundle.

It'll be fine. We only look at your completed bingo card to send the discount.

It's the rainbow colors... Red orange yellow green blue indigo violet. At least, I think it is.

with the rainbow colors if we wanted to do one with a rainbow does it have to be the darker colors? I was hoping to use Over the Rainbow 2.0 from Flergs for that one.

I should think Flergs' kit would be fine. I would use it.

I scrapped a page of my son emailing with his girl cousin, planning on putting it on the "He said, she said" one since they were emailing back and forth, but I wanted to check and make sure that would be ok? It's a bit of a stretch, haha

Adi, I don't think that's a stretch at all! It sounds like it would be just fine.

Brie, someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm almost certain that it's just good for 1 use during the week.

Yep, I'd probably include a photo of her or at least a little blurb of something she said, just to cover your bases, but I think it's a really cute take on the concept. I think that falls under being "scrapped in the spirit of the challenge," so you should be fine.

That makes sense! I was thinking that was it, figured I'd ask to be sure, since it's been so long since I've earned a code

I used a kit for a LO that I didn't realize until I looked it up to put the credits on my image upload that it was a scoop kit and one of the two designers is now retired. Am I still able to use it for the challenge? (I'm not worried if I can't, I just thought I'd ask to be sure).
Thanks

not an admin, but the previous requirement has always been that at least one designer of the scoop is currently selling at SSD.

I'm not completely positive what 'getting griddy with it' mean. What kind of grid?

Somewhere I saw the suggestion to just arrange the photos on the page in a grid, like pocketing scrapbooking.
