Default Has anyone printed onto pre-purchased notecards?

Besides printing the designed panel and then attaching it to the front of a pre-purchased notecard, is there any way to print directly onto the notecard?

I'm using PSE 4.0 (ancient I know LOL) and have tried using the half sheet option (which is 8.5 x 5.5") but it prints a white border on it. If I check borderless, I can't chose the half sheet option.

I'm tired of cutting notecards LOL...

any suggestions?

It's an Epson CX5000 (and I'd never recommend this one to anyone! the colors are always drab )

I have. it was trial and error to get everything positioned correctly. I also had to use diff dimensions, like add an inch to the length to get stuff in the right spot.

I did as well for some baby shower invites .... and I wasted a few trying to figure out my printers margins.

be careful and don't buy or print onto the shiny cards! I've got hundreds of them that I bought in bulk not knowing they would be shiny...and the ink just smears....

I wish I could help, but I have a Canon printer. My only suggestion, before doing the whole trial and error thing, would be to take a closer look at your manual, and the software that came with the printer. Sometimes settings are hidden in places you would not think to look. At least that is how it was with my printer, but now I know how to correct all the settings, there is no more trial and error. YOu may also want to check epson's site as well, sometimes they have forums where people are asking the same questions,

Hope that helps!!

I don't tend to buy anything shiny for hybrid projects or crafts. I've always leaned toward Matte finishes. But great tip and reminder!!! thanks Heather
