Default Arghhh!! Anyone ever used Viovio?

I'm trying to finish up my first photo album and I've got two questions.

#1 - Here's a message I get when I finished putting all my lo's in order and was creating a preview.."Your PDF is format is less than the PDF 1.5 standard. You may have printing errors and we will not be able to replace the products. See PDF Creation for details." Apparently, my PDF is 1.4. Whatever that means. I didn't upload PDF's - I did jpegs. Any ideas on this one? I have no idea what they mean!

#2 - Trying to create a cover with a diecut but I have no idea which buttons to click on with all the options they give. And I can't find any place to preview the covers so I can at least see what they are talking about.

Anyone know what I'm talking about??

Hmmm....ok forget #2 above. I thought the diecut cover was the cheaper one but it looks like the embossed hardcover is $13.00 cheaper so I'll get that one. Though, I still don't know what it looks like. Still need help with #1 above.

I've done a couple books with viovio & I haven't had any problem in teh past, but I see they have changes a couple things since then. You are uploading individual .jpgs and the site thinks they are pdfs? Are you uploading them to your viovio gallery or through the book maker part?

I just actually ordered and recieved 4 books from them and I think that message you are getting has to do with the PDF preview they CREATE for you.

I would try re creating the book.

As far as previewing the front and back cover it never "allowed" me to preview it until just before adding to my cart!

Hope tht helps.

You could aslo email them they are super nice and very helpful!!

Yeah, I have no clue about the pdf thing! But their customer service is always very helpful.

Have you checked out digiscrapinfo? they have great step by step instructions for using viovio. It looks like you're mostly through the process anyway, but it might help. And it seems like previewing the covers comes in it's own step a little later.
