What size should I make pages to accommodate bleed?
Anybody? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?

I add a 1/4 inch border in the same color as my layout background. You can view the preview of your book before you print it to double check

I usually do this for MPT prints... so I'd just make my MPT prints 8.25 instead of 12.25 for the artscow books, right?
I even made an action for resizing to 12.25 on my blog, lol http://maternerdy.blogspot.com/2008/...ng-action.html

I just created 2 books and when you "put it together" it has a "gray shaded" area that you need to have filled that accomidates bleed!!
I was very happy with my books and nothing got sut off and only a page or 2 had white edges and it was on pages that I had sized 8x8 and was to lazy to fix!!! Most of my pages were sized 8.25x8.25 and higher!! Brynnie I have some coupon codes if you need them: 30 page books for $11.99 and FREE shipping and 50% off additional books!!!

I did mine 8.25; main layout 8, and a plain (same color as my background) .25 border. I had no proble with losing anything, and didn't notice the border (it is just incase they suck at cutting).

I made my 8.25" with the .24" being a plain, white border, nothing got cut off and I didn't get the white border on my pages.

I just slapped a quarter inch border around mine as well. i match it to the background paper. There are a couple pages where I can see the thinnest line right at the bottom but until I pointed them out no one else noticed them
