Sons of Anarchy?

So, after hearing a few people rave about Sons of Anarchy, Jeff and I watched the first episode tonight on Netflix.

I have to admit that I was disappointed as it was just... idk... so graphic and vulgar and the story didn't make much sense to me. (And lest you think I just don't like action stuff, we just finished 24, and I LOVED that even with the shoot 'em up stuff).

So, we aren't even sure if we want to give it another shot or not. Did those of you who came to like it eventually take a while to get into it or were you hooked instantly?

I'm just wondering if maybe it's just not my style.

I love that show but it is not for everyone. There are some very disturbing things that happen throughout the storyline and lots of sex & violence. If that's going to bother you, I wouldn't continue on. There are other great shows you can watch on line. (ie Friday Night Lights)

Thanks everyone! It sounds like maybe it's just not the show for me. It actually bothered my husband more than me... I was willing to give it another shot. LOL I can see where it would be good once you know the characters and stuff (and the one biker guy Jax is not hard to look at. LOL)

I think we'll just try another show.

Jeff loves it Libby, but I can't stand to watch it. It's just not my kind of show.
