Default Mug Pics

For Wendy and anyone else who cares to see.....

Here's my big haul of mugs I got at Pier One. These should last me a loooong time. In one of the pics you can see Taz photobombing the shot And you get to see a bit of my little tiny kitchen.

The store was 3/4 empty when I popped in a few days ago but luckily there were still a lot of mugs. I was so happy with the sale price I stocked up with more than I need but then when it comes to mugs, I always have more than I need. I have a bit of a "mug shopping" problem LOL.

Nice set of mugs Rae! We don't drink coffee or tea that much, so the only thing we use our mugs for is hot chocolate. And we only drink it in the colder winter days and well...living in Arizona...we don't have much of those. lol So what I'm trying to say, we don't have that many mugs...just a few.

Great collection! I grew up collecting mugs when I would travel on vacation. I gave that up about the time I got married (now I collect Christmas ornaments when we travel).

They are so pretty! I can see there is a theme going on!

I have to really control myself or I would be doing collections of all the things. So I choose not to buy anything so I don't get tempted.

I also don't like clutter, so the fact that once I start collecting, I feel like it's cluttering up my house and makes me frustrated! So I try not to buy anything that can turn in to a collection--outside of computer/digital scrapbooking-related collections!

lol now that I think of it I've kinda done that recently. When Lularoe clothes were a hit I started collecting them... bad for the budget too coz they are pricey. But I stopped wearing them so...

There is doTERRA essential oils too that I started collecting and end up not using as much even thought I should.

And I also love Usborne books for kids. My kids always end up getting tons of books for Christmas because I can't help it. lol

I collected the Lulaore clothes too. I do still have some of the long shirts b/c they are so comfy to wear with tights or jeans. I'm a big fan of comfort clothes.

For EOs I bought a ton of Young Living and still use them a bit but have a big stockpile so won't be ordering any for a long time. I do like putting together a face serum for nighttime. I swear by it.

oooh do tell about your serum! Will you share the recipe??
Although I am pretty obsessed with the new regimen I bought from Beautycounter. Have you all heard about Countertime?! Healthy ingredients and supposedly removes fine lines and blemishes. I had a sample for about a week and loved how it made my skin feel, I even saw improvement in my rosacea.

I forgot I also collect magnets when we travel to a new state/country. OK That's too many collections already! lol

Fun mugs!

I'm so sad that some of the Pier 1s are closing. When my most local store started their process of closing, I did some research on their financials because I was curious. I've never been a huge fan of their business model, but I do like their products and frequently buy them. The store closest to me was in a horrible location, so I wasn't surprised.

I have never been in a Pier One store - (big rock I live under in a small town!)
I collect Fisher Price Little People goodies - mostly started when our grandbabies were born. I enjoy collecting them and they enjoy playing with them, so it's a win win!

I love Lulaore clothes too - have several long shirts and a few leggings. The shirts are too big for me now so I just wear them around the house - they are very comfy!!

That is me to a T Wendy! I purge quite often so we don't have much clutter … the Little People collection I have is in our basement / rec room turned into a play room for the grandkiddos, so it's "out of sight" 90% of the time (since the only time we're downstairs is with the grandkids).

I’ll get the pin link for you in a bit when I get on my computer. Check back here in 15 min or so. I squirt out just a few drops and rub over my face and neck every night.

Pretty! I admire mugs from afar but rarely buy them. Years ago I had a Shutterfly addiction (and Shutterfly had SO many good deals that I rarely paid for anything I got through them) so I bought tons of mugs back then with my kids' pics on them. Well, you don't just donate mugs with your kids' pics so I still have them all. We have enough that we will never need another mug unless these all break (which is highly unlikely as we don't use them often).

Here you go Lea. I’ll just list the recipe here. I have swapped out the carrier oil for others, sometimes I add an ounce of vitamin e oil too. I don’t measure exactly but keep it fairly close to this.

1/2 cup apricot oil

10 drops each of carrot seed, rose hip and sandalwood and 5 drops each of frankincense, geranium, lemon, myrrh, Rosemary. I also sometimes add a few drops of neuroli and ylang ylang.
