Omgggggg Sara!! That is fantastic!!!

I'm doing mine either hybrid style, or straight up paper. I have a few ideas floating around in my head, I just need to find the time to sit down and make it happen.

We haven't gotten our photos done yet (I'll be working on that this weekend, at least that's tenative, as long as the weather is cooperating in Eugene).

I'm thinking we'll do something in traditional colors, again this year, maybe a 5x7 folded card, last couple of years have been 5x7 double sided-flat cards w/design on both sides...maybe?!

Ang & Sara those are great.

Aw, Tracy, I can't see your photos! Love what I'm seeing so far - I haven't even THOUGHT about how I'm doing ours this year. Last year, I totally spaced out on them, and at the last minute just bought a pack from Target that you just stick a printed out photo into - worked in a pinch, but I wanna make my own again this year.

We're not doing ours this year. My family doesn't do cards, and my boyfriend and I live separately, so I think it's weird for us to send out cards together.

Here is mine. They are on their way to me, I used WHCC and got the pearl finish. It's a 5x7 folded card, and I think the pearl will be wicked with the black and whites.

Here's ours. Since I am new to the digital part of scrapbooking I decided to show it off, maybe I went a little over board, but I like how they turned out.

Thanks for the great ideas, everyone!

This is what I had planned on using. But now that we're re-taking pictures, it might change if I like the new pictures better.

Can I suggest that there are free downloadable cards over at Becky Higgins' blog? She had a contest and picked 4 designs... and maybe one of them was mine!

Mine uses a graphic by Meredith Fenwick from last year. I added an extra child reindeer to make it look like our family I printed a 4x6 folded card at Vistaprint and had our updated printed on the inside.

I have made a batch of 20 cards as well, even though they're generic rather than personal.

Here be one example, the rest is to be found in my gallery:

We don't do family Christmas cards where I am from, but I just started on making some general hybrid ones to send to friends and family. Even did a tutorial on one of them on my blog today using KCB's "Joy to the World" and plan to do more tutorials for Christmas cards on a weekly basis up until about Christmas.

(You can get to the tutorial by clicking on the picture.)

Hooray...I just finished my cards tonight. This thread actually motivated me seeing everyone's neat cards. I don't usually do cards because I am so lazy but not this year. We did family pics a few weeks ago and then I finally got time to do my cards and order them. I am feeling very proud of myself. Its a 5x7 folded card (landscape). Below is just the front cover, I was feeling too lazy to upload the rest.

I'm going cheap this year - 4x6 photos printed at Costco. I need to get them ordered before I change my mind and do something fancier. You know, in my spare time.
