Default help picking out reading chair

in light of my other thread, i am seriously thinking the reading chair is the way i want to go, but what type of reading chair do i want. what would be your dream chair? and then what would be the chair you would most likely end up with because i am sure i can't swing 500 dollars on a chair..LOL!

This is the style of chair I have - but didn't pay that price for it! I got it at World Market - and surprising good quality... then I just have a basic ottoman. I like to be able to slouch in the chair and to swing my legs over the side if I want...

ottoman - but mine is round...

If it were my room/reading nook, I would get on Craigslist and find a nice vintage/antique french wingback sort of chair. Something nice and tall so that I could lean over to the side, but also with arms cuz I like to lay sideways in a chair when I'm reading (like Rebecca said).

I'm a rocking chair girl so I'd go for a La-Z-Boy. That's what I sit in when I'm downstairs watching TV, beading or on the laptop. It's MY chair and no one can sit in it if I'm in the room. LOL I like sitting sideways and swinging my legs over the side.

something like Rebecca or Bree posted....big and overstuffed, with a nice high back, padded arms so I can lay sideways-ish while reading, and a nice ottoman for my feet.

i need to take a pic of mine...but its called a "chair and a half" and has an ottoman..I can sit sideways or lay on it straight...it came with three throw pillows and is so squishy I got it at an antique store ..I can do a piccie tomorrow but yeah comfort is the way to go...make sure you can choose different positions to lay in and make sure it's wide enough to be comfy

We are lucky enough to have a zero gravity chair because my parents own a store that sells them L.O.V.E. it!!!!!! It's just amazing.

I LOVE a chair and a half! That's totally what I'd recommend! I want one so bad!
