Lilly wears pediped. They are pricey, (about the same as Robeez I think) but they are easy to get on and off, and they seem wider than most todder/baby shoes. Lilly has huge wide feet. She has been wearing the 18-24 months ones since she was 12 months old LOL
They are super cute too Check them out here |

My son weighed 40 pounds at a year and the only shoes he could wear were Stride Rite. He wore them up until he was in like second or third grade

I've done stride rite for my kiddo since day one... but as with all kids shoes, pricey. Since my kiddo goes for physical therapy cause he has lower muscle tone and flat feet, I asked the therapist what they recommend... they said name brand shoes like Sketchers or Nikey are good... you need a show that has good ankle support and you and almost fold in 1/2. So, I'll be switching him to those brands since you can get then on sale way cheaper at Kolhs's, etc.

I love the See Kai Run brand. They are really soft and flexible, but still feel/look like a shoe.
Here is a link: http://www.seekairun.com/ Whhops, got distracted by the phone while posting and now see that they have already been recommended. I second!

My child was the rollie polliest baby ever. Total chub feet. I could never find shoes that worked.
The Robeez worked for her and so did a cheaper version of the Robeez that are sold at Babies R Us for around 12.00. Target used to sell some too, for around that same price. |

I've always used Stride Rite once they start walking. DS had extra wide feet when he first started walking, and they could fit him with no problem. I also like the Robeez that are more shoe-like (Mini shoez, or something like that), but I use those for cruising or as a 2nd pair.
Have fun shopping!

My kids have really wide feet too, and I have always used clarks shoes. They come in loads of different widths (I can't remember if the soft ones do, but i presume so) and they seem to be really good quality. Not sure if they have them in the US though?
