**ZPD CT Call - A Bit of a Delay**

Hey everyone!

I don't want to keep you on the edge of your seats - LOL - but I just thought I should quickly post to let you know that there might be a bit of a delay with responses for my CT call... There's a couple of reasons - LOL!

Firstly, anyone from Australia will know that we have the absolute WORST internet services in the world!! Mine happens to be even worse than most because it's a wireless connection and drops out constantly. (Just ask anyone on my CT or at the shoppe, they'll confirm that - LOL!) Anyway, it sure picks it's moments to play up, and tonight just happens to be one of those nights It's taking me about 5-10 mins just to load a gallery and it's driving me nuts!!

Secondly, you guys are just too talented, and about 99% of the applications are in the "yes" pile - LOL!! So, it's taking me a looong time to go through and sort them out into definites, especially with the internet problems... It's already 1am and all the galleries are melding into one big blur at the moment, so I think it's best if I call it a day and try again in the morning to give everyone the fairest chance

Thirdly (and the reason I can't just send an email to everyone who applied), I tried to run a weird thing on my Gmail in a last ditch effort to make it easier for me to label everything, and now I can't add anyone to my contacts... It's fixable, but whenever I try to fix it, because it takes so long to connect to the internet, it keeps losing my changes... Could my day get any better?!? LOL!!

Okay, no more excuses Hopefully some of you who applied will see this! I'm soooo sorry to drag it out even more, but I wasn't expecting to have so many wonderful applications, and so many internet and email problems - LOL! I hope you all understand... It will probably still be Wednesday your time, but maybe just really REALLY late on Wednesday.

Ugh My internet has been doing that for the past couple weeks and OMG it is SO annoying! It seems like whenever your doing something really important it just shuts off and then comes back on when it feels like it, for about 10 seconds then back off.... like that until you finally give up! I so feel your pain!

So sorry about your internet issues!! I had problems with mine the other day and it was the day I had some really important things to do online!!! lol! So I spent like an hour on the phone waiting for them to fix it.

Oiy, what a huge pain for you, Zoe. Having internet issues is the absolute pits.

After all that my 1 year old little guy (who usually sleeps like an angel through to 8am) decided he was going to get up for the day at 3:30 am... and didn't go back to sleep until 6 am So, after a couple of hours sleep I'm ready to get back into it - LOL! I just got my "no" email. I am really not surprised. The level of talent on this board is AMAZING! But... for those of you still waiting to hear, at least some of the emails have gone out! Congratulations to those of you amazing scrappers who DO make the cut! My shopping list that I put on hold until after the call is back on! Woohoo! Awww man!! See, this is why I hate this part of the job

Sweetie, don't take it personally, k? You know, I had sooooo SOOOOO many applicants, and as I said before about 99% of them were in the Yes pile - and YOURS was one of them... I really take calls seriously, and that's why I avoid them at all costs!! I hate all the disappointment that it causes... It's just so hard to decide, and I mean it when I say that I wish I could take everyone on, but unfortunately I just can't

And that goes for everyone who got the dreaded 'no' letter too! Please don't think that it's because you're not "good enough" or anything like that!! In fact, it's exactly the opposite! There were so many that I had to let go and they were this close to getting in... I'm sorry And, I meant it when I said that I'm going to be keeping those applications on hand for the next time I'm looking to add new members.

On a brighter note Invitations for the successful applicants have been sent! Yippee!! FINALLY!! So, check your inbox girls! I've checked and double checked that I've responded to everyone on the list, but if you applied and you haven't received a response, please don't hesitate to contact me

Man, my wrists are hurtin' today from all the typing/scrolling I've been doing - LOL!! On that note I'm going to pour myself a nice Rum & Coke and wash the day away

Brooke - I promise you one of these days you'll get so many CT's you won't know what to do with yourself!! It just takes time I've been there and done that, and I know exactly how you feel, but don't beat yourself up about it, k? Remember that scrapping is about having fun and making memories, and not about being on CT teams... That's just the cream on the top and it doesn't take away from your creativeness, and please don't let it take away from your enjoyment if you don't get on one for a while

Brooke, I totally understand how you feel right now because I've been there, but don't give up! It took time for me to get my groove on, too! Before I knew it, I was invited to become a part of a CT and felt more confident in applying for others which now I'm part of 3 CT's. And also, "be careful what you ask for, cuz you just might get it all" as the saying goes. Sometimes I wonder, "How am I gonna handle doing all this?" It really takes some initiative and responsibility to remember what assignments are required and their deadlines for each CT. I was never someone who kept track of things, but now I do. But on a general note, just keep doing what you're doing and if you love it that much, your time WILL come sweetie!

As for Zoe's call, I got a 'NO' letter too but it was so worth the try! At least, I know she got to know me a little and have my file in case there's another opportunity, ya never know! Congrats to all who made it, I'm excited to find out!
