Default My secret obsession

Which may or may not be a huge secret...
I love French onion dip and would eat it daily if it didn't settle right in the crevices of my thighs

What is you secret (food) obsession?

I am a salty snacker............so any kind of chips or popcorn is my go to. I guess my VERY favorite is Lays potato chips with Hiland's french onion dip CLOSLY followed by tortilla chips and my homemade guacamole.

I am also totally in love with cheese..........sharp cheddar cheese is my favorite. I can eat through a block of cheese in no time.

mmmmmmmmmm............fighting the urge to hit the pantry now.

food? wow-I don't think I have a secret food obsession-I love most all of it...LOL

Nowwww...make-up...eeeks...I would hate for my husband to know how much one single pan of my Nars blush costs...he would faint and then go count them all (over 25) and add it up and tell me what a moron I am...in the nicest way possible...Hahaha.

One of my secret food obsessions is eating chips and salsa and sour cream. Every chip must have salsa and sour cream on it. When I eat it, I can't stop.

For food... Dean's French Onion dip and potato chips... oh my gosh... I can not have chips in the house - I have no will control over that...

Outside of food... reality tv is a secret obsession... I love Real Housewives and pretty much all Bravo programing... that I cried when we had to give up our DVR and cable... thank goodness for Amazon streaming and Roku!

I'm a chips and dip girl, too...pretty much any chip with a dip gets me every time!

Oh, and chocolate. When the craving hits, I absolutely must have it.

Guacamole.... and cilantro. And fresh lime juice. Yum, yum, and yum. Please, avocados, be cheap again so my hubby will make me some more guacamole.

I have to add this is all new to me. I never tried guacamole before (until sometime in the last year or so) and assumed it was gross. Now, I can't get enough. Same with cilantro. Just the smell of it almost makes my mouth water (not that I eat it plain or anything.... yet). Mmm. I'm starving. And now all I want is guacamole.

PS I am still afraid to try store-bought. I have only eaten what Shane makes.

Do be afraid...nothing will ever be as good as what Shane makes...home made guac is the best.

Tortilla chips with spinach/artichoke dip and salsa. I used to buy chips from a local southwestern place in Madison, now I've settled for On the Border brand Southwest Thins with Costo spinach/artichoke dip (it's all Kat's fault).

Plain Lay's with green onion dip, not french onion dip, is another one for me.

or Lime tortilla chips and restaurant style salsa...
or Salt and Vinegar chips with french onion dip...

none of these are a secret, but taquitos from the RaceTrac are...shhhhh!

kettle corn... but I'm really picky about what kind... it has to be Angie's Classic... I buy the big bag at Costco and have been known to eat the whole bag in one sitting LOL I really want to learn how to make it myself but since Angie's is all natural I'm happy to just buy it and be lazy LOL

also my homemade guacamole... I just can't eat any other, must be homemade... we also buy tons of avocados at Costco every week LOL now that we make homemade corn tortillas, I want to start making my own chips... because I'm really picky about my tortilla chips too LOL... there's only a couple brands I really like... basically I like the thick super crunchy ones and not the flimsy break too easily ones like most name brands... I also love those layer bean dips... I'll eat a whole pan of it in one sitting LOL

lastly, I love salt and vinegar chips... just plain

for drinks... any smoothy... I've yet to have one I didn't like... I made one with almond milk, peanut butter and chocolate today... I think that's my favorite LOL

Since Christmas break, it's been beef jerky. I'm glad I don't live near Woody's Smokehouse (in Centerville TX), or I'd be even more broke than I already am.

Currently, this:

The sweetness of the caramel corn with the salty of the cheese corn is KILLING ME. And it's only $6 for a giant ass bag at Costco. Help me, Rhonda.

Fritos and cream cheese!!! I could eat the whole bag and tub/block all by myself if I would't have extreme guilt after doing it lol! Also I can never go to a movie without buying LARGE Diet Coke and some popcorn with lots of butter. YUM!!! And not only is it terrible for me it's terrible on my wallet. Man I hate movie theater prices, yet I still have to buy it
