Golden Compass Trilogy (His Dark Instruments)

Anyone read it? I just finished the last book and was extremely disappointed. I felt it left a lot of questions unanswered and that it was seriously anticlimactic. Yet now I'm sitting here feeling like half of me is gone since I no longer have this series to read.
