Thumbs up Yoo Hooooo Mac Girls

I'm here on my laptop, but the Mac is sitting to my left, with PSE3 photoshop open on it. However, this new Mac is like another universe . I've used Macs before, learned on them originally, but this isn't my mother's old Mac let me tell ya,lol.
I'm hoping I can pick your brains about using the Mac from time to time. I've an excellent for dummies book for it, which is very useful, but still, there's nothing like personal help ya know? There could be virtual cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies in it for ya,lol.

I use photoshop so I don't know much about elements but I can help with the Mac questions. I switched over last June. If you have specific questions, you can always just post them in the forums here and I'm sure someone can help you out.

Welcome to the dark side.

I recently switched over to Mac myself and I LOVE IT! I wish I wouldn't have waited as long as did. One of the things I love is that I can run PS, ILL, and several other programs and this thing never hiccups! I never have to wait....the processor is fast as hell and it never locks up.

Huge fan here!

I am a Mac user as well! I don't use Elements though, I do use CS3.

PSE3 is Photoshop Elements 3. Are you talking about CS3?

well I might need some of the same questions answered. We were due for a new computer and DH has been begging me(for years) to get a Mac. I have not wanted to. But I finally caved and we ordered it today! We got the 20in iMac. It is 2.66GHz and 2 GB memory and a whole bunch of other fun, fast stuff.

I am hoping that I will love it as much as DH says I will. I am just excited about a new computer. This one has started to give us problems.

I want to put PSE back on the map but our Mac friend want us to try something call iPage, or something like that? Has any one tried that program? Should I go for it or just stick with my wonderful PSE??

He's probably taking about Pages (part of iWork), which is a word processing program. I like it a lot and I use it instead of MS Word, but it wouldn't nearly replace PSE. Pages wouldn't do what you want for scrapping AT ALL - but it's nice for regular word processing.
