Default Do you display any of your scrap designs in your home?

Just curious if anyone displays their scrap pages (or any variation) in their homes.

yep...this was in my scraproom, but now that room is being occupied so I am thinking of moving it upstairs to my hallway wall.....

and I did this above my coat rack in my entry....they are hybrid prints I made

and this is a frame I made {thanks to Elizabeth } with wire, clothespins,, B&W photos and leftover scrap paper (and it is probably my favorite little decorated spot in the whole house right now )

(having trouble with my internet, brb with pics)

I have a few framed. I framed this one and gave it to my daughter and her husband for Christmas and she has it in her bedroom at her house.

no, but it was partly because we were renting and didnt want to put holes in the walls....

since we are in the process of buying a house, I have been thinking hard about what designs I want to print up and display!!

I have some hybrid things that are out because we use them (wall calendar, decorated box, notebooks, address book, non-photo wall art, etc). I'm terrible about updating photos in frames, so if I hung any scrap pages they'd be there forever. My layouts are all printed and in an easily accessible bookcase in the family room. I've thought about putting them in a digital frame, but the one I have is only 5x7 and I don't think my 12x12 LOs would look good at such a small size.

No... I do have mini albums and the albums with the 8x8 printed out - but nothing on the walls - except of when it's kiddo's birthday, then I use 8x8 from the year to spell out his age

No, I desperately need to get some new albums and insert all of my new pages printed. The office has all of my hybrids.

Nope, just a calendar. I've had some 12x12s printed, but they've never even left their shipping envelope.

Where did you get the frames? I would love to display my pages like that. Are they 12x12? I only have the capability to print 8x8 but I could have them printed somewhere.

Yes I have 4 8x8 frames that house layouts in my living room. I also do hybrid stuff a LOT for the home. I print things from photo companies too, like my desk organizer from Shutterfly that has my name scrapped on it (and I have a few with layouts on them too). The things I have on display aren't always layouts exactly but I do display a lot of scrapped projects.

I've wanted to do this for awhile. We just moved a few months ago. Got our portraits wall up. But I would love to have 3 or 5 12x12 frames I could rotate LO's through!

We also have a wall in the playroom that has each of my kids' baby announcements (2 scrapped, 1 purchased in my pre-scrapping days) framed in a shadow box with their infant handprint in clay. I'll try to take a photo later.

Thank for posting your photos ladies! I love seeing them!!!

I would also like to know the best place to get 12x12 frames. I've been looking online, but I don't see that many options and many are fairly expensive.

honestly I bought my frames between Micaheal's and JoAnn's when I could use a coupon and they are 12x12...it took me awhile to get all 9 of them, but it was well worth the wait I bought the cheap ones that were like $8.99 and then used a 40 or 50% off coupon

by bigger prints are 11x14 and I bought 16x20 frames at Ross

I have a couple of frames in my living room, along with all my albums and mini albums (in a basket). My office/scraproom has a set of 2 curtain rods with 12x12 page protectors hanging on them (5 on the top, 4 on the bottom, I think?) that I put my fave current layouts into. I love that I can switch them out so easily. I know I posted a picture of this a while ago...let me see if I can dig it up...

here it is:

I have paper layouts hanging on my walls, but no digi ones. And I didn't frame them - just put them in page protectors. I know, lazy. (and this is an older photo - I don't have that shelving unit anymore)

I have couple sets of 3x3 frames and a handful of 6x6 frames with layouts in them scattered around the house.

I keep meaning to change out the layouts in them as it has been a few years since I put them up.

Sheri, do you have a Ben Franklin's nearby? There is one in Monroe, Washington where I have picked up fairly cheap 8x8 and 12x12 ones. I can't remember how much they were-but they were cheaper than online.
Hope that helps some,
Calvina

I get my 12x12 frames at Micheals. They can also be called record frames (as they would fit an LP) - those ones sometimes leave a 1/4" edge around the layout, which I think looks nice sometimes anyway. I have gotten them there for $7 (in Canada, so I am guessing they would be closer to 5 in the US)

I have a 12 x 12 of each of the kids hung in our living room in the black shadow box type frames from Michael's. They need changed out because they are a couple of years old now, but they are still some of my faves of them. <3

I have magnets on my fridge from something blue studios and like a grocery list, to do list and shopping list that I ordered from there. Otherwise, no.

I have plans to... like everything else floating around in my head :P

Ironically the only scrap thing we have hanging up is something my husband made for our anniversary a few years ago. He rummaged through paper scrap stuff that I never actually did use and made a family thing with our pictures <3

It's so neat seeing how you all display your work! I don't have any layouts displayed other than in books and albums, but I do have some things I made in PS in our house. The rules and birthdates are on our photo wall going up the stairs, and the pledge and Lord's Prayer are in our homeschool room.

I have a lot of things like those Jennifer posted hanging up around the house. I love doing them. Our family rules one is a 20x30 print. I told my kids there is no excuse for not being able to read it as it is BIG. LOL
