Default Yummo-O-DOUBLE YUM

That's what my somewhat finicky pancake eater said this morning to punmpkin pancakes! He typically likes just plain pancakes..no fancy stuff, with a bit of honey or maple syrup. This morning, I needed something fall-ish...so decided to give them a try - YUMMO!

I did a basic pancake recipe, 3 BIG dollops of pureed pumpkin, a 1/4 tsp of nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon, and a bit of finely chopped pecans. I found I had to add more liquid to get the consistency the way I like it.

And then some warmed up maple syrup...WOW..yummy stuff! Can't believe we'd never tried them before!
