Default Align

Can anyone help me quickly? I can't find the key to aligning my text. It's now aligned on the right but I wanted to align it both sides, so I have sort of a block of text. I thought it was like CTRL-A or something, but it doesn't work

Thanks!

I think you want to justify your text, correct? I remember when I was using PSE (an older version), I was endlessly frustrated by the fact that you couldn't do that! If you're in PS, you can just go in the text panel and select from the various alignment options (left, right, centred, full-justified, justifiedight, justified-left, justified-centre - I think!).

I am using PSE6 at the moment on my laptop and that's the version I had when I took Jessica Sprague's classes. I know she had a quick button for it...I have a Dutch version so a Paragraph tab (where is that exactly). When I hit the text button I can only chose for left, right and center. Unfortunately.

There's a little secret if you by chance are working in PSE.

Make a text box, type it up & then highlight it all. With it all highlighted press ctrl+j & it should justify it.

You can select the text and then use Ctrl + Shift + J to justify the text in PSE (I think that's the PS shortcut too). If you need the last line to also be justified, you can use Ctrl + Shift + F.

When I tried to do this in my CS3, the justify options were gray. Is there a way to change it?
