Default My Happy Place...my laundry room?!!

I finally got around to taking pics of my laundry room redo that I did this summer. DH made fun of me for it (WHY? he asks!) but the friends who have seen it have loved it. I just hope whoever buys our house in a month (few months) loves it as much.

I will so do this in our forever house, this is my happy color!

I'd still paint it! Someone tried to talk me out of it (said it would be too dark but with the white it just pops and makes it bright). Ours is our mudroom as well so we walk through there 47466 times a day.

But even a closet can be happy! Who knows what we'll have over in Kuwait!

It looks fabulous. I'm wanting to redo my laundry room, but we need to redo the tile first, so it's kinda taking awhile. I have a red front loading washer and drier though, so I'm going to have to go with a more neutral color scheme.

This is my inspiration for the redo:

Kim, that's gorgeous!!! I love that green--it somehow makes the space look so fresh and clean, which I guess is good for a laundry room, lol!

It's beautiful! Unfortunately, my laundry room is a corner of the unfinished side of the basement and will remain dirty-concrete-white. But we're in the middle of redoing our living room, and that makes me very happy. It has royal blue walls and will soon have all white furniture. Still picking an accent color, but a green like that is high on the list.

That green is FAB!!! Similar to the green I want to use for our kitchen. That's our winter project.

It looks AWESOME! The laundry room is next on my list to "do something" to. I need some more shelves and baskets or some cabinets. Did you already have the cabinets and just did the walls? Unfortunately, ours is only the length of our washer and dryer, which also means the door from the house and the door from the garage actually OVERLAP when open... so I couldn't really put much behind them... maybe the garage door though.

Anyway, it looks great and that green would total work in our space... hmmmmm love it!

Swoon....it look awesome! So bright and cheerful! I really should do mine. I have a huge laundry room that doubles as my back up pantry or little grocery store as we call it. It really livens up the room. I love your decor too.

The cabinets were in there already. That is where I hide all the cleaning supplies and such. Open shelves with baskets would be fun too. Our boys' coat rack is right behind the door leading to the garage and most of the time it isn't a problem with opening the door. Only if they pile everything up on one hook does it become a problem. We actually used to have our dog's kennel in there as well, but moved it out when he stopped using it so now it seems huge!!

Oh and don't worry y'all it is messy most days but I do try to pick it up every once in a while to make it all clean and purdy again!
