Default scrappin' christmas

so i'm having a little contest with a couple of my scrappy friends to see who can scrap the most in march. i'm looking through my photos and i realize that i have not scrapped more than 6 layouts for the past three christmases!!! i guess i just don't like scrappin' christmas. i need a little motivation to get on it this month. i figure it's a good excuse as any to at least get 2009 and 2010 done.

so what is your all time favorite ssd christmas kit. looking through my stash i don't have many! show me!!

I haaaate scrapping Christmas! Which is crazy, because I LOVE Christmas kits! I think it's just because Christmas is such a special time and it's intimidating to think that you might not capture it just the way you want to.

Some of my faves are:

But, seriously, you can hardly go wrong with any of the Christmas kits in the shoppe here. They are all amazing!

Celeste, we must be from the same blood. I find that I have such a hard time scrapping events. Funny I know, but the everyday stuff is easier for me to scrap. I need to get LOTS of Christmas stuff scrapped too! Thanks for the push in the right direction! ♥

i did finish up a december daily journal from 2009 today. it was in paper. i printed all the photos and stuck them in the book with a little handwritten journaling. i've had that book lying around without photos for 2 years.

i think what i dislike about christmas is the traditions mean we do the same exact thing every year. so i feel like i keep scrapping and writing the same things over and over again. ykwim?

I agree! Scrapping Christmas is hard for me, too. I wonder why?? There's certainly no lack of inspiration from these amazing kits!

I would suggest Kitschy Christmas by Jenn as well as these:

Scrapping Christmas is hard for me. I usually get one or two layouts done but never all of my photos. I think I've decided to just put a background paper down and then put as many photos on a page that I can fit, color blocking style. Done. LOL

Here's a few of my faves:

The 2 collections by KCB can be all bought individually. They're all awesome, though!

I'm glad that i'm not the only one who has a hard time scrapping christmas. it's just overwhelming with the amount of photos I take. But the christmas kits are hard to resist!

As the boys have gotten older (and the gifts more boring...video games, money , clothes), I find I don't take near as many pictures at Christmas. When I paper scrapped I always had assignments for Christmas layouts, so I did them more. But since digi, I've scrapped very few.

well i mapped out december 2010 and i have about 25 pages to scrap between Christmas, Hannukah, my mom's birthday celebration, and just every day stuff. i've taken an inventory of my xmas kits and i've decided i'm just going to bust them out with templates. i have a 6 hour crop on friday night - it would be great if i could get half of them done!
