Default Weekly Weigh-In: March 16 - 22

Late again! I need to set an alarm for myself so I don't forget to post this each week.

So, how'd everyone do last week? Me? Not so well. I got on the scale yesterday morning and cried...fo realz!

But, I started a strict, 21 day program that's designed to cleanse and "restart" your metabolism, so we'll see what happens. I had my 1st workout with the trainer yesterday...O...M...G!!! I think I'm dead! That was the most intense workout EVER. A fast paced, 12-station circuit (twice) that works every single part of your body including cardio. I thought I was going to die after the warm up!! I'm embarrassed to admit that I cried during the one hour session...but I finished it!! My thighs hurt so bad right now that I swear I need one of those chairs that helps you get up and down...and one of those toilet seats that seniors use!!

Hope everyone is doing well so far this week.

Oh sweetie, I'm sorry! I know it's frustrating to feel like you're working your tail off and not see the results on the scale. I hope this week is better for you!

And good for you on the trainer! No need to be embarrassed... that's hard work! I've been working with my trainer for 15 sessions now (9 more to go!), and I feel much better about where I am now than I did after our first session. He even told me yesterday that my form is MUCH better than it was when we first started. I'm even seeing results in how firm my body is. Don't get me wrong, I still have a LONG way to go, but it's amazing to me that in just 15 sessions, I'm seeing such drastic differences! You will, too!!

Today is the day that they'll update the leaderboard for the contest with our mid-way weigh-in points. I have no idea where I'll rank, so I'm pretty nervous. Still, even if I'm not at the top, I'm proud of the 16 pounds I lost in the first month. This month seems to be off to a slower start thanks to my lovely period that is looming any day now. But I'll get there, and you will, too, Laura!!

Thanks, Libby...your encouragement means a lot. And holy moly...16 lbs in a month is awesome! You're amazing, no matter what the leader board says.

Great job, ladies!!! I've gotta give you big props for going to the gym with a trainer. That takes tons of commitment! I'm so bad at sticking to an exercise regimen. I need to do something about that.

I am doing well with my weight loss. Since January 4th I've lost 16 lbs. Down from 174 to 158. And, for 5'3" I feel like I still have more to go. My goal is 140 lbs, and we'll see when I get there if I need to lose more. Something exciting... I had to go out and buy myself a new pair of jeans because my 12's & 14's were falling off of me after wearing them for an hour. I went cheap and bought a pair of *new* 12's (not stretched out) at Walmart and that felt good. But hopefully I won't be in them long. I'd like to be back to a size 10 like I wore in 2008 when DS was 2.

I will confess, I'm having a hard time keeping accountable to tracking my food every day on WW like I was the first 2 months. I'm pretty familiar with what I can eat, but I'm much less careful. And, we've been sick for the past couple weeks which has me craving comfort foods & ice cream for my sore throat. So, I'm worried about my weigh-in on Friday.
