how speed skaters and the like get into those skin tight outfits with those HUGE thighs??

I would think they're made of some really stretchy spandex type fabric. One of the Canadian women's outfits was really cool...it had clear plastic over the thigh area!

I played volleyball for a long time and the strechy/skin tight shorts we wore were a beast to get into. I can't imagine it being PANTS!
