SO, I'm still a beached whale, BUT.....
I just wanted to post my victory here because well, I've been working really hard at this and I am proud of myself.
 Eight weeks ago, I started going back to the Weight Watchers way of life. I was on WW before Mama got sick again and I lost around 50lbs. Well, I had gained it all back plus some during her illness and after her death, and finally I decided I had to fix myself. Yes, I was/am broken. Anywho..I decided to give the WW meetings a try and see if I really was missing out by going it alone. I WAS! Tonight was my 8th meeting, and I am proud to say that I received my second 5lb star and have lost a total of 10.4lbs so far. This is really a big deal for me because I just feel like 10lbs is so much and it's been pretty effortless to lose with the WW plan. Now don't get me wrong..I'm still a mammoth, a hot one, but still. I am 10lbs closer to feeling better about myself and I just wanted to share that.

Woohoo!!! Congrats! I started doing WW at the beginning of the year, but I am only doing it on my own and just tracking online. I miss the meetings but can't really do it right now. Good luck! We should start sharing WW recipes or something on here.

Meg, Olive Garden has a meal called Ventian Apricot Chicken that is 7 points for the entire plate. It's 2 pretty fair sized pieces of chicken breast with an apricot sauce/reduction, some broccoli, asparagus and tomatoes. Then instead of the unlimited salad, you can get unlimited soup. 1 bowl of minestrone is just 1 point, and the zuppa tuscana is just 3 points. SO, if you had 2 bowls of soup plus the meal, the MAX you'd be spending is 11 points. That is killer for OG.

oh ok cool
I should research more options for eating out with WW..but we don't eat out a lot lol...plus I don't plan on staying on it long just wanted to lose about 20lbs of excess baby weight I was stilllllllllll holding on to

Woooot!!!! WTG!!! I know how awesome that feels...I just hit 12 pounds from the first of the year, and even though I'm still fat...my clothes are fitting better, my jeans fit (I can breathe in them LOL) and I'm just so excited about getting to my goal weight! I love that you got back on it and are doing so well!!

Congrats! Sticking with it and losing weight for 8 weeks is a big deal! I'm also doing WW, but I haven't followed it as closely as I need to the past few months and am stalled at 20 lbs down again. I'm doing it online, but I've been toying with the idea of seeing if I can find a meeting at a time that would work for me.

As you can see from my siggy, I am right there with you (actually I haven't updated for another 1.8 lbs, but we're still very close). I started at the beginning of the year, and was so excited to reach 10 lbs - I rewarded myself with special walking socks. And while it only shows 30 pounds as the goal - that's just until April - I have another 110 lbs to go after that.
So - Congratulations and treat yourself to something special! You deserve it!!!!

Woot Manda! 10 pounds is a lot! I bet you're feeling better and sexier already.
I lost 25 pounds last year before Halloween on WW - doing it by myself from home. Put on 5 pounds between Halloween and now, which is pretty darn good for me. You've inspired me to get back to it and lose 10 pounds before we go on vacation in April. Thanks for the inspiration and congrats to you! P.S. Thanks for the info on OG - we eat out a lot and I need all the tips I can get so I don't end up eatting something yucky and not worth the points. Yah know!

That is awesome Manda! I am starting back on WW this week too! I need to lose about 30 lbs total.....all baby weight that never came off (and my daughter is 3). We should all exchange tips and recipes!
