Do you run hot or cold?
My hubby is always complaining about it being too hot in our house but - even though it's 114 outside today -- I'm finding it chilly in here in the AC (set at 79). If it's a normal temperature to everyone else, I'm almost always cold!
Do you run hot or cold? What is your thermostat set to? |

We don't have aircon or thermostats here, but if it's not the middle of summer I'm always cold. I used to love visiting my sister who had a heat pump in her house.

I use to be always cold but menopause has hit me and I sweat with the AC set around 72. In our bedroom I have it down to around 68 and I wake up drenched. The sweats is real - at least for me.

I run cold, I'm typically colder than everyone around me... especially my husband. He's hot all the time. I tend to bring a cardigan or light sweater with me everywhere- even in the dead of summer- because even though I live in a tropical climate, anywhere indoors around here is air conditioned... sometimes WAY too cold. We keep our house at 77/78 with the ceiling fans on all the time and that's usually perfect for me.

I like it cold! Pregnancy may be a factor there, lol! We run the A/C at 72 because the upstairs where all the bedrooms are is at least 5+ degrees warmer. I installed ceiling fans in all the bedrooms too just to keep the air moving at night so we don't wake up sweating. I would seriously die at 79!! Yikes!

Cold...always. My office at work is like a walk-in freezer for me. It's pointless to shave my legs because my leg hairs always grow back by the end of the day.

I used to be cold all the time... until menopause began to turn my internal thermostat up. Now 79 would have me searching for a tub of ice to lie in So now I run hot all the time

I'm so hot natured... and always have been! I remember being too hot to sleep during the summer sometimes as a kid. When I was on fertility meds that gave me hot flashes, I thought I was going to loose my mind. And then I survived half a winter while pregnant without ever turning the heat on or buying a maternity jacket! Haha.
My house might be set at 67 degrees right now! Haha. That's a little colder then I would prefer but my husband works outside in the heat and he wants the house to be ice box cold when he gets home! |

Definitely hot, always have been. If I ever start having hot flashes I'm pretty sure flames will actually shoot out of the top of my head. I seriously hate summer because of it too. We keep the thermostat at 68 in the summer and 65 in the winter (which definitely saves on the power bill).

I run hot, except my feet they are always cold. I have my air set around 70-72 and don't turn my furnace on in the winter until mid November.

Wow! You guys set your thermostats low. No wonder my hubby is always complaining. It's so expensive to heat here that we're usually between 76-78 for AC.

My body has a hard time regulating temperature (any other Reynaud's ladies out there?!) so I am rarely comfortable. In general, I am almost always too cold in air conditioning, and I am almost always too hot once it gets over 70 degrees outside.
Our thermostat is set to 73 in the summer and 69 in the winter. |
