Default What Else Do You Scrap?

Other than weekly spreads and special projects like vacation books, what else do you scrap?

Do you ever cover events in your weekly spreads in more depth on their own page?

I always find myself scrapping events when I get some good pics. like show choir events, birthdays, first days of school, etc.

sometimes a certain kit or even just a themed element will inspire a layout, like the cutest slice of pizza in this one:

I also enjoy making gifts for others, like my sister's wedding album:

Yes, I (try to) make notes as I'm doing a weekly spread about what "regular" pages I'd like to do-- a picture I love or something with more story or more photos that I want to give it on a weekly spread.

I work on whatever I feel motivated to work on, and print a book when I have 100 pages done-- each one is a mix of years, which I enjoy when I'm looking at them (it does make it a little challenging to find a particular page).

I scrap everything!! Because I like to use "better" photos for my CT pages, I sometimes use photos in more than 1 layout although I try not to do it a lot.
My PL pages have a lot of snapshots- 1 photo from an event and then I scrap that event on its own page(s). I hope one day I will print all my pages for the year in a photo book.

I don't scrap a single thing

I do want to do something with the books I read though! I also feel like i should do some sort of about me book but I feel like I don't really DO anything? I don't like taking photos of myself and I literally pretty much just design and go for walks and have a very very quiet and pretty boring life. It might be depressing to attempt.

I scrap all of it.

I don’t do weekly spreads, I do scrap chronologically though, I scrap month by month and then anything that doesn’t really work as it’s own layout I include in a two page monthly wrap up that will have current events sometimes, photos, etc.

I scrap everything and non-chronologically. Little moments, big moments, and everything in between.

Everything. I do weekly spreads, and then I go more in-depth with pages of certain events or things. I am trying to give myself permission to seek the stories that really mean the most to me and let the rest go. However, seems like every story is important to me, haha! I like scrapping--I truly enjoy it, so it doesn't feel like a chore or obligation to make all the pages. Sometimes it can be a drag when I'm trying to finish up a photo book and have to figure out covers and a title page. I hate that. But I can happily churn out pages about the lamest things!

I scrap world events too. I want their books to also have some current event pages like 9/11 or Death of a World Leader, Election Results, etc.. I also make pages of favorites or dislikes.

Default Montjhly too

I could not keep up with weekly (tried it several times) so now I try to do Monthly and then if something significant happens that month I will make more pages

I'm all over the place! I do have some recurring type pages that I do for my kids each year. The first is an interview, every year on their birthday I ask them the same interview questions and then scrap a page with the photo & their answers. Here is an example: https://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com...=q2b-a&cat=500

I also do an annual layout for each kid with 12 photos of them, one taken each month of the year - so it'll be like " A year of Violet" and include12 photos of the year she was 8 years old, from when she turned 8 in August to her last month of being 8 the next July. It's fun to see month to month how they grow, and also see the growth in one year.

I scrap it all and do it mostly chronologically. Vacations get their own book. Everything else is in my yearly books. I take as many pages as I need. I usually have 2 yearly books about 200-300 pages each.

I don't scrap as much as I have in the past - but it's never been chronological and rarely book based.

I have several planned books in progress (vacations), but since I have done a lot of CT work, I hop around to whatever fits a theme. I'm more kit than photo motivated lol.

This is me. I scrap creatively, photo/photoless, stories, just an image,, whatever. Then I add completed layouts to folders of what year the photos are from (or what year the story is from). Then when I get enough pages, I print that book. I haven't printed in way too long, so I should peek in those folders, lol!

I scrap weekly and then always print those out at the end of the year around 200-300 pages. I digital scrap special events and use fun kits, but sadly never print those out!!

Hi Team, I am so so sorry for your loss. I am sure your scrapping of him is a joy to so many in your family.

I am all over the place and not good at printing or creating books.

I am currently three vacations behind that I want to make books about. I have finally culled my 2000 pictures from Scotland down to 650 and I I have edited 15. Needless to say I am far behind in that endeavour. . . . .did I mention that trip was two years ago?!

I do monthly LOs for the designer I CT for. I scrap pretty much everything from little moments, to vacations, our cars, lots of sports pages, trips to the zoo. I definitely do not scrap in chronological order! I scrap whatever fits a challenge, a CT kit, or whatever strikes my fancy that day!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope that those making pages is healing for you.

I have multiple albums for pages about me, things I like, books I read, obsessions, my childhood, scrap therapy, etc. They are in page protectors, and I just add to it when I have enough random pages to print.
