Default Scrapping Simply Prints ?

Can I upload my 12x12 layout with them and have it printed 8x8 or do I need to size down? anyone know? It looks like I'm going to have stuff cut off, but I can't really tell.

scrappingsimply dot com (not sure what the rules are for links here) They are actually having their big semi-annual sale Sunday and Monday with prints marked down 25%.
coupon code: semisale09

They hand print every single print to make sure that they don't lose edges. I've watched them print my order before and it is seriously amazing. If you are familiar with Provo, Utah, they are Allen's Camera. I used to use them for engagement/wedding prints when I was in college.

I only used scrapbookpictures once and had a really bad experience, which I understand is HIGHLY unusual for them. But I LOVE ScrappingSimply. They are owned by a professional print lab that caters to professional photographers in the Provo, Utah, area. Typically, I get an order within three days, sometimes it's even next day. With the sale, I would guess it would take a bit longer than usual, but they seriously amaze me!

I have used both, and I cannot tell which is which when I look at my albums. To me, the quality is just as much as draw as the price is.

I haven't printed any pages yet due to lack of local printers and I want to print single pages rather then a book so this sale looks very appealing! My finished LO's are currently saved as JPG's - do I need to do anything else ie screens, unsharp etc or should I just upload as is? I noticed on their site that they do this so unsure if I should do it as well. When printing small brag books locally I've needed to run a screen otherwise my LO's are too dark - they look overexposed on my computer when I do this but at least the printed product is how I want it. As I'm in Australia I want to print quite alot of LO's at once to make the most of the P&H but I don't want to end up with a bunch of LO's that are too dark. Any feedback from those who have used Scrapping Simply regards this would be appreciated.

Thanks!

It is telling me my coupon code is invalid. Plus, it makes me enter my CC information BEFORE it will show me the discounted price. (It was on my third try that it told me the code was invalid)

Anybody else having trouble placing their order?

ROFL. Well no wonder the stupid code won't work. Now I am wishing I hadnt stayed up an extra half hour trying to figure out why it won't place my order.

Thanks for looking into the matter for us, Lauren.

Just upload your layouts as is. They quality check every print before they print and after it comes out of the printer. If you don't want them to color-check your prints (if you add special effects or something) just add that to the notes section.

I order their glossy prints and I love them. I have ordered their matte prints, too, and they are equally as gorgeous, but I just love the look of a glossy photo! Their online stuff wasn't my favorite the very first time I set it up, but now it's easy-peasey. I just upload, click the one-of-each button and go on my merry way!

I can't wait to finally have some of my LO's printed! My kids are going to love it too - they love looking at the LO's on the computer but to have them in an album will be fantastic!

No Need to change anything. Upload your 12x12, order a print in a 12x12, 10x10, 8x8, 6x6....

There is a lab tech adjusting each page if it is too dark, etc. They sharpen them too, and you can ask them not to if you don't want them sharpened.
All prints are Guaranteed, so they will refund your money or reprint them if you arent happy, but that has never been the case with me!

Seriously, you all. if you are thinking about printing with these people, do it and do it now. I just placed my order. I apparently accidentally ordered 2 prints of a layout of Abby, and I didn't mean to do it. Didn't even know I'd done it, actually. Within 6 minutes of my email confirmation I had an email from Scrapping Simply asking if that was an error and offering me a refund or a print credit. AT 11:15 PM ON A SUNDAY, people!!!!!! AMAZING. I so cannot wait to get my prints.
