Default Which series do I read now?

So I took everyone here's suggestions and read the twilight series and the sookie stackhouse series and I loved both. So now I need you all to tell me which series to read next. Totally doesn't have to be vampire related! Lol

I really liked the "Outlander" series by Diana Gabaldon ~ it combines Scottish hunks with time travel and romance.

I loved the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants...it was light reading (the books were long but didnt take alot of time to finish) They were really sweet and funny. There are four in the series.

~ The Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon (and ANYTHING by her, as well as her other name Kinley MacGregor)
~ The Highlander Series by Karen Marie Moning (and also anything by her as well)

Those two are my absolute fave series right now - and I'm impatiently waiting for the next ones to hurry up and come out for each!

LOVE the JR Ward Black Dagger Brotherhood series!

But if you like murder/mystery books you should check out James Patterson and his Detective Alex Cross books, Patricia Cornwell and her Kay Scarpetta books, Iris Johansen and her Eve Duncan books, JD Robb and her Det. Eve Dallas books.

And for a fun light read check out Janet Evanovich and her Stephanie Plum series. Absolutely hilarious! She is a bounty hunter in Jersey and her and her side kick are always getting into trouble!

I agree, definitely check out Sherrilyn Kenyon, Karen Marie Moning and JR Ward! Some of my other fave authors in the paranormal fiction genre are Gena Showalter (Lords of the Underworld), Kresley Cole (Immortals After Dark), Kerrelyn Sparks (Love at Stake), Lynsay Sands (Argeneau Vampires), Alyssa Day (Warriors of Poseidon), Hannah Howell, Lara Adrian, Cassandra Clare, Katie MacAlister, Larissa Ione, Rhyannon Byrd, Kathryn Smith, Lisa Hendrix, Jeaniene Frost, Chloe Neill, Molly Harper....(ok those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head and um yeah I read a lot lol!)

Karen Marie Moning has a fae series that is unbelievably good. The series is called "Fever" and here is a link to the first book in the series:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/112750.Darkfever

There are five books in the series with the final book in the series is due out this coming January (2011).

All of the authors that Shawna mentioned are really good, too. You can't go wrong with JR Ward's books. I have read all of them.

I second (or third...) the Outlander series. I'd also add the Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins and the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare.

Definitely the Hunger Games trilogy! The final one comes out in a couple weeks.

I'll also throw out Kelley Armstrong's Otherworld series and Richelle Mead's Succubus series.

I am reading "If I Stay" which is very good... not vampire related.

If you want intense and scary, go for Let the Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist... it's a Swedish novel, translated into English, and I absolutely love it. Vampireelated.

If you don't mind a little bit of romance mystery, check out the Lynsay Sands books... they're a bit... graphic... at times, but they're a fun read. Also vampireelated.

Scott Westerfeld's Uglies series is also very good. Not vampireelated. More futuristic kind of sci-fi... I hate sci-fi and I loved it.
