Default Skinny jeans experiment, one year later...

...I am wearing a size 10 in jeans, Med in tops and the scale is sitting at around 140ish! I was in a size 16/XL and weighed 179 a year ago. I love the skinny me!

So, who else did the Skinny Jeans experiment that Lena hosted a little over a year ago, what is your update???

ETA: I think I am still losing too, at least inches in my legs and toning my arms and core!!!!

FIrst congrats that is AWESOME!! I was not participating in the skinny jeans experiment but have lost some weight. I didnt go very far though. I wore a 12 and now am in a 10 for the most part. Some 10's still do not fit but most do. My goal is to get to a 4/6

woot that's awesome!! I have no idea where I am... LOL.. I threw out my scale a while ago. I know my smallest jeans are now getting too loose but.. *shrugs* eventually I'll get another scale lol the last time I weighed myself I was 55lbs down.. If I had to guess.. I'd say I'm probably around 60-65 now, I haven't really been working hard or anything in a while. I hover

LOL, I was totally just thinking earlier this week about posting a thread like this!
I am down almost 25 pounds. Down from a 18 to a 12/14! XL in tops down to a medium (still large if it's a button up. lol)! I am SO excited! My pants that I used for the Skinny Jean Experiment are now too big! I've got about another 20-25 to go!

I didn't play last year, but since the beginning of this year I have lost almost 60 pounds, and went down 2 pant sizes. I think I will need some new pants soon because my current size is getting a little loose!

WTG, Jami! you also moved a continent with twin boys... you super-woman-mama, you

Jenn! that is awesome!

Skinny Jeans Experiment was the kick in the pants I needed - i'm down 60 lbs., in waay cuter clothes, and feelin' much better, but now have reset the end goal a bit.

Getting rid of this donut around my mama belly that has turned me from a pear shape into sorta an apple is my next challenge, as my c-section abs are def. not what they used to be!

I am down about 10 lbs...but look SOOO much better and feel better..of coarse a deployment to Kuwaut for 7 months helped me stay int he gym 5-6 days a week....I haven't been able to keep up with it as much since I got home, but I am determined to get into a bikini before I am 40 {whici is next Aug}...I was wearing around a 16 last year and the jeans I have bought lately are 12's

oh and about doing it again...I'd totally love to, but MAN! It was a lot of work and I am not sure if I'm ready... (I'm dating someone). And with that comes all the eating out, the movies, the popcorn, etc etc....all of the weight I lost when David left has crept back on as I've found happiness LOL!!!!

I'm so ready. I've put on 20 pounds in a year....and I feel horrible. I still choose to wear cute clothes...I don't sit around and mope, but I'd love to not feel so fat, and I'd love to not have to shop the plus size section anymore!

Well, I'm proud to be a loser! I was exercising a lot, but not so much lately! Gotta get back with that. I've been eating smaller, healthier portions, less junk food, less cokes, more water, fruits & veggies. But, honestly, what I think has made the biggest difference for me, is I've started eating breakfast! I never really did, but now I rarely go w/out it! And, I really think that's what's helping me!

Cut out sodas, drink 1-2 a week and that is it. Healthier eating and smaller portions to a degree, but really I count calories so I can really gage my intake better. And THANK THE LORD for spin class, that has been the big exercise change in my life that really whipped me into shape. I workout twice a week of cardio (swim and spin) and then I do 60 push-ups and 100 sit-ups 6 nights a week. Smart snacking with 100-calorie things. I cut cheese when I can too, all about the calories for me!!!!

Congratulations, losers!! I'm so happy for all of you - way to go!

I'm excited to hear this may be happening again...I still have some baby weight to say good-bye to, plus the extra pounds I was attempting to lose before getting pregnant. I can't really help organize, but I'll definitely participate! Looking forward to your ideas!

I'd love to be a part of it as well. I lost 30 pounds this summer, and I need some motivation to shed the last 10-12. Can't wait to see what's in the works!

I'm glad so many of you had success. That's awesome.

Me? Probably around where I was when we did this. We don't have a scale so I don't know how much I weigh.

I'm still eating good with the occasional sweets. Exercise, not so much. When it was nice out we would go for walks all the time but now that the weather is cold I have no motivation.
