Photoshop/Mac annoyance - help!
Hi everyone,
Happy New Year!! I don't know if anyone can help, my hubby recently had to 'wipe' my Mac and re-install everything as it seemed it was dying a slow and painful death Now I'm back up and running but I can no longer select multiple layers in my layers pallette in Photshop using Shift and click or ctrl/cmd click and it's driving me insane and slowing me down so much. I know it's probably an easy setting tweak maybe but i've googled and looked through preferences and am still none the wiser, does anyone know how to fix this? I'm running Sierra on Mac and using Photoshop cc 2017 |

How completely frustrating! I would be ready to throw things. lol
I just use command and click to select when I do that. Hope you get it figured out soon. |

If you haven't yet, I'd try resetting the Photoshop preference file. Sometimes it gets wonky and makes things weird. I can never remember the exact shortcut but if you google you can find directions for it.

Thanks girls!
That didn't seem to make any difference Lynette but not sure if the keyboard shortcut worked tbh, I also noticed that the checkbox was ticked for Auto Selected the layers when the move tool is active and I turned that off which didn't make any difference. I'm re-installing the previous version of PS i was working on and will see if that fixes things! |

I use my Wacom pen as my mouse also, and it was the driver! So odd as it worked perfectly fine the week prior to Christmas, updated the driver and fixed! <3

Glad you figured it out, Rach! I would be of no help, since I am still on the old OS X. My iMac is at least 3 years old that I wouldn't dare to update the OS, in case it'll just slow it down.
