LOL...having a bad day? I would have agreed with you this morning, but now that our 1st Thanksgiving day dinner is over with the inlaws, I'm a happy camper until we do it all over again tomorrow.

SORRY, Angie! I haven't done ANYTHING for Thanksgiving. We're going to family's house and they let us off the hook since we've been in and out of the hospital.

Im sorry. This is why I stay home for thanksgiving and my husband and I cook together. He does alot of it himself actually. We already have alot of it done tonight. All we have to do tomorrow is cook the turkey, bake the rolls (just brown and serve nothing special LOL), and heat the vegies

My head is spinning! I had to take a break for a minute! What was SUPPOSED to be making green bean casserole and going on a 2 hour trip to spend Thanksgiving with my MIL's side of the family turned into staying home and making a small Thanksgiving dinner for me, hubby & the kids (when it turned out hubby was going to get stuck overnight at work and won't be home till Thanksgiving Evening (well around 5pm) AND THEN that turned into cooking for us and now my parents and my sister and her boyfriend and possibly my hubby's uncle! OMG!!! And this all was sprung on me TODAY! YES, TODAY!! I'm freaking out! My house is cluttered, as usual and I had to do tons of grocery shopping and now tons of cooking! ACK!

So far, I got the pumpkin pies baked and rolls are done and in bags. I got the mashed potatoes - pioneer woman's recipe - and is waiting to be baked tomorrow and I'm going to make the butternut squash recipe from pioneer woman now and then i'm going to get the stuffing ready. Tomorrow I will do everything else I guess. ACK! I'm nervous!

we have family nearby but we arent really close with them and going to their house for thanksgiving always ends with someone (me usually) upset because my hubbys family is kinda mean to me so I started cooking at home like four years ago. It is so much less stressful now and we all have a nice time. My family and any friends are welcome to come over and eat and my husband tells his friends they are welcome to come over also. His mom usually cooks so his family mostly goes over there.

I am sorry Angie. I got lucky, I only had to make green bean casserole and I bought a choc cream pie because I came down with Strep Throat on Sunday. So I got off way easy. I'm sure everyone really appreciates all your hard work! Have a happy turkey day!
