Default What I did this morning :)
This is me about to cross the finish line at my first ever official 5k!

Woot!



I did the Couch to 5k program, and today was my last day of it. I purposely registered to run a race the last day so that I wouldn't slack off.

I was pretty slow but hey look - people are behind me - and I ran the whole time!

Then tonight at 6 I played soccer.

I think I've had enough exercise for today, eh?

That's awesome! Way to go for completing your goal!

I was originally supposed to run my first one today, too, but with all the flood things we have had going on here, I haven't had time to keep in proper shape and thus didn't do it. Next year though, I am so all over it.

Thanks girls! It was a lot of work training my fat arse to be able to run that far. My only goal was to RUN the whole thing, I didn't even care what my time was. It worked out to be my best time yet for that distance.

That is so awesome! I'm planning on getting started on the couch to 5k challenge as well! The weather is finally nice here (although it SNOWED all day Friday), so I've got to pull out some running shoes
