Default New Photo Apps

I have an iPhone and I love hearing what photo apps other people use because new ones seem to pop up all the time. Right now, my absolute favorite is PicTapGo (by the makers of Radlab). It's $ .99 but it's soooo worth it. A couple other goodies:
  • Phonto - free - Text on photos and you can actually install any font as long as you have the file
  • PicItEasy - free - My hand gets shakey sometimes and this app always takes sharp photos
  • Snapseed - free - General editor with a nice interface and tons of capabilities

How about you guys?

I'm a fan of Snapseed as well.

I also like Aviary and Picfx.

I recently downloaded one called Snap Clap. You set it up, and then when you clap, it starts a timer and then takes a pic. I haven't tried it out yet, but I thought it was a great concept for taking selfies.

I like the instaweather app. I love taking a local shot with a weather read out, it comes in really handy for PL layouts!

Do it! Another awesome feature is uploading straight to instagram as a full photo. I have the worst spacial perception (still can't parallel park) and I always had a hard time shooting square photos . . . I rarely ever crop my photos now . . .

I gotta check out all these recommendations--I always mean to take more selfies but never do

Agreed--those are super cute in PL layouts. I recently discovered one called instaplace that has some really good overlays too . . .

Yay! They're so fun to play with

I forgot to mention Split Pic because I don't use it often but it's super cool. I used it to take pictures of my brother at the museum below. The panoramic pic was from an app too . . . I'll ask my brother what is was and let you know

Maria! I visited your blog and you mentioned in one of your posts you converted one of the doodles you made in the Paper by 53 app into a PS brush. How'd you do it? I tried exporting one of my doodles and it came out as a jpg.

i've been meaning to try SketchGuru & Split Pic...

i have a few, like Snapseed & Camera + (among others) but usually always use my faves : Pictapgo & Pixlr.o.matic (which also has a pc version, so i can further tweak stuff once i upload it)

I just started playing with a Beautiful Mess Photo app...I know a lot of people complain about all the in-app purchases but there is a whole bunch of awesome goodies already included, i.e. you dont NEED to buy all the add ons (although I think you will want too! lol)

For me it is awesome cause I can do it on the go no need to sit in front of the computer and one less step to take before I print out my pics.

You know, I actually export my entire notebook as a pdf bc the images are bigger for some reason. Then I open up my pdf in PS (I can't remember now if I had to extract my doodles from the background??) and create a brush edit-->define brush preset.

PS I'm on CS3
PPS size image 2500px and under

Nooooo, not more camera apps! I think I have 16, plus 8 more for photo manipulation, and I use the camera that came with the phone 99% of the time. I'm lazy.
