Default Titles

Do ya use them??

I have an incredibly hard time figuring out titles of pages. I tend to lean on the word art from the kits I buy. I see some amazing title work and titles and I am in awe...

How do you do it? Are you a Title person or a Title wanna be?

It depends on the page ...I love making titles though. I vary from word art, journal cards, alphas, fonts, and blank.

Angie wrote about titles on the blog HERE and HERE that might help you!!!

Sometimes I just know what I want to title... or I use word art in the kit. Other times I go to scrapbook.com titles for ideas.

I used to be big into titles. If I couldn't think of the perfect title (or if the kit didn't already have the perfect word art) I looked at scrapbook title sites, quote sites, and similar places until I found one. Somewhere along the way I let that go! Some of my pages have titles, and some don't. If a page doesn't have a title, I name it (for the file name) based on the event or a word strip that's on the page.

I do, but when I'm posting a CT layout, I use the name of the kit then. I've started putting a title at the end in brackets.

I love big titles when other people do them, but on my own pages created by me, I despise titles. They're just a lot of work and unnecessary for my purposes.

I have made literally thousands of pages since I started scrapping 19 years ago + titles are my least favorite part of the page so I most often use a piece of wordart as the title.

While I love collecting alphas, I do not enjoy placing alphas or resizing alphas so if I choose to create my own title, it is more likely than not to use one alpha only and be very uncreative.

I do sometimes. More often than not I'll use a big word art as my title. Occasionally I'll make one with an alpha. That's usually when I have something very specific in mind for a title, or I want to create a certain look. Often I just skip one altogether.

I almost always use a title, unless there is a challenge where I'm not supposed to use one. When I'm pressed for time or just lazy, I will use a font. Font titles are actually easiest for me.
