Default Show Me Your Valentines Please!

I still need to make Valentine's for my boys. I'd love some inspiration. If anyone has any they've made this year or in past years, I'd love to see them!

Thanks!

I bought this print and cut file in the Silhouette store, and bought a bunch of mini bubbles from Amazon. We're going candy-free this year.

I'm recreating these that I made a number of years ago with a kit from Lauren and Nicole...

However, I'm being lazy this year aka running out of time (and would have remove the inch of dust on my Silhouette (shh... don't tell Heathergw )... I just got foam hearts at Michael's that kiddo can decorate and then have then hold a couple of pencils. I only need to make 8 by Tuesday... and a valentine box - which I have no clue what to do for that... so got another foam thing at Michael's - it's a bird house that opens on the top... Michael's is my friend this year!

I made them when Nick was in preschool, but now that he's in school, we go the cheap, easy route and he just picks out a set at Target. We got Lego Star Wars this year. lol

I offered to buy them or scrap them, but 2 of my kids want to make them by themselves this year. This is what Ben (2nd grade) is doing.

The last set of scrapped ones I made them were these. Jason's were Pokemon influenced:

(We did these again last year, but left off the photo and just had a large Pokeball in that corner. We both liked that one better, but it isn't in my gallery.)

and these were Ben's:

My girls are taking advantage that I am on medical leave until next week and asked me to make these for their friends.

LOL-This would be me. I keep seeing all the fantastic things people do on them and I think, "I want one!" But I don't do much hybrid or papercrafting, and I know I won't keep using it long term. Must stay strong and look away from the cute Silhouette cuts people are using for Valentine's Day...

I made these using Penny's Minecraft-like kit last year.

This year, Luke just bought some Pokemon cards he found at a resale shop for a quarter. Score! LOL

I saw the idea on Pinterest, but it didn't have a printable so I googled "ninja" and made them. I don't mind sharing the .psd file.
https://app.box.com/s/wnl9475mf810vrym78i9

I didn't save the eyes clipart, but if you google "ninja eyes" there are plenty to choose from.

Here was the original blog where I got the idea (to give her the credit).

Yep. We go the lazy route over here too. Madelyn picked out Winx Club and Emma picked out punny cat/puppy ones this year.

My son's at his dad's this week, so I haven't made much for Valentine's this year. Since it'll just be me anyway. Love all of your ideas though, and will keep them in mind for another year.

Had Noah been home for V-day, I probably would have made him this.

I don't have any pics yet, but Paul is making Rainbow Loom pencil grips. We are putting them on a pencil and then will attach a card that reads, "You have the write stuff."
He's made 9 - only 15 more to go!
If he doesn't finish, I think we will go with our backup plan: cutie oranges with a tag, "You're such a cutie"

I let Aida pick up some from Target yesterday - Sofia the first and Justice League - with notepads for her classmates. She didn't want to give the boys "girly" cards...I thought it was cute and went with it. I did play around with the Silhouette to make her a shirt for Friday.

Nikki, I may copy cat you. I am always looking for a cute non-candy idea. Hopefully Landon thinks they are as cool as I do! If not, store bought it is! (which is totally okay with me this year)

Great ideas! My oldest (4th grade) wanted me to make his Valentines so that he could have one with a tank and absolutely nothing lovey. Here's what we came up with for him:
