Default Instant Pot Bread!

I had a few people ask about the Instant Pot bread from my layout last night, so I thought I'd make a post about it!

If you have a yogurt button on your Instant Pot, you can use that to proof bread (If you have the Luxe model, you might not have the yogurt button but you may be able to adapt these yogurt making instructions to use for bread making)
http://naturemoms.com/blog/2017/05/0...x-instant-pot/).

All you need to do is mix up all of your ingredients, spray a piece of parchment paper with cooking spray, turn dough out on to the parchment paper, and then place in Instant Pot. Hit yogurt button and set for 4 hours (no need to turn valve to sealing since you aren't trying to build up pressure. You can even use a glass lid instead of the regular IP lid)and go about your business. When the timer goes off, turn it out on to a floured surface and shape it, cover with a tea towel for about 30 minutes while you preheat oven and dutch oven (or loaf pan) to 400. Once the oven and pan are heated, place bread in it and bake covered for 22-25 minutes then take the cover off and cook about another 5 minutes.

This is the recipe I used for the Rosemary Olive Oil bread. I use an instant yeast packet on all of the breads so I can skip the yeast activation step and all of the bread has turned out great! Just throw everything into the bowl and mix.

I use this same recipe for the Italian herb and cheese bread and just omit the rosemary, add 1T Italian seasoning, 1tsp garlic powder, and a quarter cup of Parmesan cheese (plus some to sprinkle on top).

This is the recipe used for the Jalapeno cheddar bread:

My boys loved this one!

The sourdough was actually a sourdough "cheat" made with Greek yogurt instead of the traditional sourdough starter. I used this recipe but found that I had to use about twice the amount of Greek yogurt as the dough was too dry. It made a very dense bread but was still tasty. My oldest loved it:

All super easy, no kneading involved! Now go make some bread!

So yummy! Thank you so much for sharing! I have to try!

Is the jalapeno bread spicy? I wonder if my kids (or even I) could handle it...

Heather, did you use Bread Flour?

I've been able to find all purpose flour, but nothing else.

I have only used bread flour, but I don't think there's that much difference. I bet regular would be fine.

It was not really that spicy since I removed the jalapeno seeds. Just a little kick.

This seems like it might be a stupid question, but do you put the bread straight into the instapot or into the silver pot? Thanks!
