Default Headache. All. The. Dang. Day.

I have taken Tylenol all day and am drinking tons of water and even took a little nap, yet still it lingers. I'm so irritated.

That is all.

Excedrin is what works for me - and I'm sorry you're having the headache! Those nagging ones are such a downer

The key to Excedrin is the caffeine so any form of caffeine might help. I keep a supply of mini cans of Coke for this reason.

Gatorade! When I have a lingering headache after Tylenol (or excedrin when I'm not pregnant), caffeine, and water then I drink some Gatorade. It always helps.

Yep, it's the combination of caffeine and aspirin - I used to just take aspirin with coke or pepsi but now that I don't drink soda I use the Excedrin.

Hope you feel better. Not fun! I've had a migraine off and on since Friday. I think it's the weather change.

I hope you're feeling better in the morning after a (hopefully) good sleep! My shoulder keeps dislocating so I can empathize about the pain.

That's awful, and I know it cause I often have such headaches. The only thing that helps in my case is Analgin.
Hope you'll get better soon!

I gave up caffeine a MONTH ago, but I'm still having headaches from noon till I go to sleep every single day. I feel like I shouldn't be having withdrawal symptoms anymore, so maybe I just always had headaches in the afternoons but I medicated with caffeine. It stinks!

Well, it finally lifted a couple hours before bed. I'll have to remember the Gatorade thing.

It doesn't seem like that should still be withdrawal! I gave up caffeine last summer and it was a week tops that I struggled. You think you have something else going on?

Excedrin is the bomb.com! If you don't have any, however, my tried and true method is a Hershey bar and some Coke. Works every time. Hope you feel better!

Having a headache is the worst.
If I feel a headache coming and I take Excedrine, than it helps. If I take it when the headache is at its worse, it doens't work for me.
But I hope you feel better soon Val.

The withdrawals can occur even months later. I'm on the verge of starting to wean myself off caffeine again.... Tried going cold turkey last weekend and had the headache from the pits of hell for a whole day. I ended up buying some coffee that evening but the headache was too strong and the pain relievers didn't start working until after I had some coffee.
(((Hugs))) to all who get caffeine headaches.

Months? Wow. Just shows what a powerful drug it is!
